About the grind
This has probably been adressed a lot before but I fail to understand why changes aren't happening for the past 3-4 releases.
The grind in this game is ridiculously difficult if you play the game normally and below are some calculations that will show you just how long it really takes to level up to 50 on your average character.
Rank 1 both sides so I'm trying my best not to be bias at all in these calculations.
The amount of BP Required to level up a character to level 50 when going for cheap items in BPs.
Level 1-30 (Average of 28k/level)
Level 31-50 (Average of 50k/level)
28k*30 + 50k * 20 = 1840k
1,840,000 Bloodpoints are required to level up a character to level 50.
As your regular survivor main
Let's say you're the average survivor main, playing the game normally with an exhaustion (DH),2 second chances (DS +BT), and Iron will.
You earn about 22k BP on a good game.
A match usually lasts 15 minutes.
1.45k / min (With no BP Boosts)
So as a survivor main playing the game normally it'll take you
1269 minutes to reach level 50 with a survivor.
which is 21.15 hours of gameplay without spending any of the BP on anything else other than levelling up that survivor/killer.
85 good matches......
As a farming killer with the right perks and offerings
So, in this case, we'll assume you're always running T3 BBQ & Chilli, and you encounter a survivor pudding / bloody party streamers once in 3 matches.
You earn around 27k as killer on a good game.
54k with 4 stacks of BBQ & Chilli.
54k, 54k, 81k(pudding/BPS encountered).
189k / 3 matches (45 minutes)
4.2k / min
438 Minutes of continuous farming gameplay without spending BP on any other purposes.
7.3 Hours
29 Good matches
But again, farming is boring, and everyone knows most of the playerbase are survivors anyways since killer in red ranks is just super stressful.
My suggestions.
1- Reselling items for a third of cost. (self explanatory)
2- Remove or Buff category BP Boosting offerings (They act as filler items and give little to no profit depending on your Match, I made a discussion on this so feel free to view it through my profile.)
3- Remove perk tiers (A pain in the arse especially if you have a LOT of teachables unlocked if you wanna get T3 of a specific perk, and only exist to increase the grind)
Hope this gives you an idea of how long it truly takes, and as busy as the devs are with the new release maybe they can do something about it when this 2 week phase is over?

When it comes to the Perks, I honestly think the better solution would be removing them from the Blood Web entirely and putting them in a separate section of the in-game store where a player could spend Blood Points to buy and update the Perks they actually want instead of having to suffer through getting tons of random Perks in the Blood Web they will never even use.
I know why the same thing canNOT be applied to Add-Ons and Offerings. Because if it would be, then everyone would just spam Iridescent things. But I see absolutely no reason why it couldn't be applied to the Perks.

This would make life 10x easier not sure if they'll wanna add it tho idk, but I easily agree with this nobody should be forced to mow through a ######### ton of useless perks like monstrous shrine / zanshini tactics etc...

That's especially important to the Killer characters who heavily depend on certain Perks. For example, Deathslinger is stronger with Save The Best For Last, Spirit needs Stridor and Legion is much more effective with Thanatophobia. And those are just a few examples. But it's not just about viability. It's also about having fun trying different builds, which has become way too tedious with the current Blood Web system, especially so for the casual players who cannot invest an infinite amount of hours into the game and count every Blood Point they can get.
