I don't know why Freddy still has the 'Hard' mode label over his character selection portrait. For me at least he's easily the easiest killer out of the entire list hands down.

Freddy had the exact same lunge distance as the other killers. The difference is that because his weapon is tiny it looks wrong.

Yes. It's a simple concept to understand. All killers have the same lunge distance and weapon hitbox. Freddy is a killer. Thus Freddy has the same lunge distance and weapon hitbox as other killers.

Litterly the lunge of freddy is the same as every other killer, it just looks weird because freddy is a tiny boi with a tiny claw.
So if we want to change lunges with their weapon then spirit should have a really big hitbox because she litterly attacks with a sword.

So you implying Freddy is only good bc of his extended lunge (which is not a thing, but whatever). So why would his ability to port be a thing then which needs to be nerfed? When he's so obviously only good bc of the lunge, the teleports shouldn't be any issue, right?

I have to say, Freddy's lungs are probably in a pretty bad state, the guy was burned alive; so i imagine he did inhale quite a lot of toxic smoke/fumes.

There are a couple of explanations I can give you.
1) The different killer players have different ping, so you just played against a laggy Freddy
2) You expect to be hit like that and thus remember the 'bad hits' easier than the normal ones (this is backed by the most basics of human psychology)

just Fix the servers then have killers that match your ping so the game could run smoother or you have terrible things like Freddy infinite lunge

The servers are mostly fine. The way to make hits less bs would be to either make hits server sided(killers will stop playing) or revert back to P2P (survivors will be annoyed but the game was made with P2P and going back to this would help with a lot of bugs)

That's *close* but it implies they don't move the same distance when they lunge. All killers lunge works the same way: they get accelerated to 6.9m/s for 0.3 seconds during the lunge, and perform an attack. The only exceptions are The Nurse after she blinks, and The Shape in T3, with the former having slightly reduced range and the latter having slightly increased.
