Please remove the disconnect penalty!
I'm sure this has been brought up so much already. But, when your game gives temporary bans for disconnecting due to dedicated servers causing the disconnect mid game, that's messed up. Please, revert the penalty and just let reports be your best way to give correct bans. You already can't ban people for people killing themselves on first hook and it has been proven the system is flawed. What's next? Is the next patch going to be broken that it's going to give penalties for people disconnecting during the load screen, too? Stop going by data collection and actually go by what your consumers are telling you is wrong. If I get banned due to disconnecting because of dedicated servers, I'm uninstalling. I'm not playing a game that will ban me like that due to incompetent coding. Why is it so hard to trust your consumers?

I’m in agreement. I’m stating to become so sick of the BS! Ban people for speed hacks, lagging and cheats. This is pure BS! Not only that, if I have to leave somewhere or do something and I need to leave the game, which is a forfeit , a legal way to leave the game then their should not be a ban. What the OP said is completely right. Keep alienating your players, will see how much longer the wait times become as players leave this game!

Remember when Sonic's first trailer came out? Remember they said they would fix it after the criticism of how terrible Sonic looked. They could have said "don't see it if you don't want to." Instead, they wanted to improve their product and people put their money where their mouths were. Why does Hollywood and the video game industry have the mentality of "if you don't like it, don't buy it" when there are legit criticisms such as this. I want to play this game. Behavior shouldn't be like "if you don't like our penalty feature, don't play it." Why do the consumers keep getting alienated like this?

It's not about trusting their consumers. The devs are wise not to mistake a lot of complaints for a majority vote. From what I've seen, the majority seem to be very happy with the penalties being introduced.
That's not to say that you're not entitled to an opposing opinion - of course you are - but don't assume that your opinion is shared by everyone else.

I haven't seen a reason to be happy with it. I've seen two players disconnect the same game and pretty sure it was due to dedicated servers. One disconnected mid chase and the other I'm not sure. Should those players get penalized? What about emergency situations? I've also seen players run up to the killer and kill themselves on first hook. I have a friend who got a 45 minute ban because they disconnected 3 times since it came out. All were due to dedicated servers. This system is abhorrent.

Whats really lame is my internet was acting weird yesterday it disconnected me from 5 games i was playing all day so it wasn't that much but it was enough to give me the dreaded 14 minutes ban.. What is even more stupid is sense this has been going all the dick troll killers have slithered out of the cracks.. Iri head, noed, divour hope perfect aim camping hunttress. I have seen many youtube videos lets see how many we can disconnect.. The people going and trying to make people dc on video should be the ones banned killer or surviovr.. If your being treated like this you should be able to leave the game.. However i think fixing this is very easy.. I feel you should let us see the killers name like they see our name.. I don't want to see who the killer is playing as just their screen name.. Killers can see survivors names so i think its only fair.. That way people can leave the lobby if its a name they know is toxic.. It would prevent dcing a lot because you could just choose not to go against the toxic killer or survior.. I am not a main of either side but think it would be fair.. I know people would argue that then people would dodge certain people if they are too good but would you really want to be with someone like that anyway lol

This is complete BS i cant play this game if every time during a match i lose connection to internet then get banned for not having good enough internet now i have to wait 24hours bc they decide everyone should pay the price i love this game so much bc of all its qualities but im uninstalling it if this keeps up its worthless.
