I'm sorry but the new map is straight up unfun to play in
Whichever side I play I just never enjoy it.
The map is extremely difficult to navigate and the 4 ways of moving from 1 floor to another are all shoved into the sides and never easy to find.
Playing as survivor, most if not every single pallet in this map is unsafe, and there's a lot of parts in loops you get stuck in by mistake either the tip of a chair or a desk its just weird.
Playing as killer, it's HELL for a 110% killer, the hallways are very long and a survivor could waste like 30 seconds literally just running and not looping. Again, very hard to go between floors so If I hear a gen 90% above me I'm often helpless and this has happened to me a LOT so far.
Overall I understand how much effort the devs put into making a map with sounds, easter eggs, and a general scary theme like this, but moving around it is frustrating. Hope some changes are implemented perhaps more ways to go to 2nd floor and some staircase signs like in The Game.

I actually have very much fun on this map. I like to navigate through it without knowing exactly where everything is.
this map will just take more time to memorize, but in the end after several games you will know where to get up and down etc.

I mean, there are also quite a few god pallets on the map. Huntress and slinger die, I agree, but hag spirit and Nurse have a field day. Freddy just wins instantly, stealth killers love it (usually), Billy isn't that bad- overall I really like it actually. As survivor I've escaped a couple times and as killer I've killed them all a couple times and others they've escaped.
If you're having a massive issue I suggest you use the strategy of find a floor and stick to it. Only defend gens on that floor. Usually easier on the bottom since there are like 4 ways of going upstairs.

Freddy and doc are the ones im playing rn until the map rng lowers. You think im spending 5 minutes to get up to that gen to stop you? No im tping up there as freddy or making you fully insane as doc (doc loves this map just like he loves the game)

It's difficult to navigate because it's new. Once you play it enough that you know the layout it won't be hard anymore.

It's a good map in fact I would go as far as saying its the devs best map. At last we have a map with scary like features. It will just take time to get use to.

tbh
I have played that map a lot now, and I absolutely hate it.
it nice visually but as a survivor main, it is crappy.
gens are impossible to find and stupid dead ends make no sense.
forget trying to save anyone cuz you can’t get to that level.

The map is too unforgiving for both sides. It's either a quad escape, or a 4k. No in between.

It just feels like other indoor maps on first release, can't really get an overlook and overall just feels more confusing at the start. Saw a map layout and it became muuch more clear.
I will say sometimes getting up and down floors as killer feels worse than it should.

My ONLY complaint for this map(Which I'm having a blast in as Pyramid Head and Robbie the Rabbit) is that pallet that blocks a staircase, just kills the momentum BUT, with how fast Robbie sprints and Pyramid Head leaving trails along all the halls, I'll allow it. Plus, Robbie can vault and Pyramid Head has Punishment so...
