The second iteration of 2v8 is now LIVE - find out more information here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/480-2v8-developer-update

Dear BHVR is this an exploit or is it intended?

Was just minding my own business playing survivor because I'm trying to improve my survivor game play and I accidentally did this!

VOLUME WARNING! VOLUME WARNING! VOLUME WARNING VOLUME WARNING! I got too excited because I didn't think it was possible!

I think its intentional if you notice you are on the pallet and the ranged attack goes under walls etc i think its intentional although i could be wrong.

Highly doubt that's an exploit. That does look really sweet, though.

I'd be down for leaving this in.

I've already seen a few survivors do this. It's crazy how fast people find counters all the time. Kinda sucks as Pyramid Head, though.

That's pretty ass for poor Pyramid Head. Hope they fix it or he'll drop hard in viability.

maybe a bug, but 100% not an exploit.

knowing BHVR they are gonna say it was intended and leave it in though xD

I would say its definitely not intended, considering you CAN hit people vaulting windows with this ability (in fact vault hits are generally the easiest for low rank Pyramids to pull off). I can't see why they would intentionally treat pallets differently granting invincibility against this ability.

Sidenote: Did Pyramid just miss here. Not sure the pallet trick had anything to do with it. Particularly if you pause the video as the runes appear hes outside the hit region (by the skin of his teeth) then as the hit occurs he enters the pallet animation, which moves him into the would be hit region... slightly after the hit occurs possibly? Regardless I'd love to hear if anyone else can pull this off reliably.

I mean this looks like a counter but I've also seen a Pyramid Head send Punishment of the Damned through the back end of a pickup truck on Autohaven. Basically it went up the truck and hit me in the face visually.

Now that you mention it, yeah, he might have just missed. The hit goes at an angle slightly away from Dwight.

You can hit people on pallets. I agree with the last few comments. PH missed. The survivor could’ve just kept running away.

It's hard to say, Punishment already has a few weird bugs/interactions.

Sometimes even if it hits you it'll just push you up into the air instead of doing damage, for example. Actually happened to me twice when playing survivor!

I thought it was intendet. Did it myself sometimes already.

I wouldnt care if it stays.
