I dont know whats been happening
I have had three games now where the killer in game isn't who is shown on the scoreboard.
First time was the trapper who the scoreboard says was hillbilly. Second time was Ghostface who the scoreboard says was fredy. This time it was the huntress who the scorebaord says is the doctor.
I dont know if the game is just bugging out, which I wouldn't be surprised, or if there is a hack going on.
I took screen shots of tonight and only partially covered survivor names to show it is indeed from the same match.

I think this is probably just part of the bug that makes it look like they have no perks or add-ons.

I didnt know there was that bug going around. This game has a lot it needs worked out. Sigh.

It happened the day before the update, the day of, and now today. So its only been one every few matches. So I dont knownhow often this pops up

I think it has to do with hackers being able to see which killer you are in the lobby. To combat this, killers have one killer selected, then swap to another right before the timer runs out.
Doctor is a good "decoy" killer in general because when the hackers see it's Doc they'll tell the other survivors to run Calm Spirit, which against other killers is usually a waste of a perk unless they're running Infectious Fright.
Freddy is also a good decoy for stealth killers because the survivors will likely run Object of Obsession to counter him. However, against a killer like Ghostface that perk only hurts you.
