Dead by Daylight is designed for Soloplayers and not SWF. After 4 years we need a new Ranksystem

Hello,

don´t get me wrong but in my opinion DBD is designed for Soloplayers and not SWF. We also need a new ranked system. Maybe a rank system for Soloplayers only and a non ranksystem for SWF or a ranksystem for SWF i don´t know.... and pls ...don´t come with: "We don´t want to split our playersbase or we doesn´t want to make it." So many treads about to play vs SWF is horrible or so many treads about endgamechat toxic stuff. My opinion: Remove the chat and don´t write, you can hide the chat ... it brings nothing ...and create only tickets for nothing.

    Indeed devs confirmed that game was made for solo experience but our only hope its that they add voice comms and buff killers according it. Also i read about something on the early game so killers will have more pressure but seems it will last long.

    I feel you bro, when I were "newbie" i frustrate a ton with SWF and mori em as hell. Now that im more experienced I dont use any kind of mori and I pretty much have fun with SWF teams (except those tryharders team)

    They should revisit both emblem and bp score systems to account for "players in your group" and those who arent. Like harsher penalties for unsafe unhooks when unhooking strangers. Similarily its not a teamgame unless escape points depend on the number of swf's that made it out.

    They won't make a queue which would separate solo and swf as it would increase queue time for both killer and swf.

    This has been suggested many times over the years and its not logical as the ones who post it would never play in the "unranked" where swf is playing ergo my first point.

    where did the devs confirm that? I just know that SWF was planned from the beginning and was already introduced in 1.0.3 I think

    I wish 3-man SWF had more reason to be invested in that other random person. Too often, the random seems to become a sacrificial pawn.

    Some of the "solutions" I've seen for swf are ridiculous (i.e. delete it completely) or would just make the game incredibly dull (slower gens, an additional gen) but they need to stop acting as though it doesn't make any difference at all. Like if someone wants to explain to me how a full team where someone has object of obsession isn't a balance issue I'm interested to hear it.

    cmon not this .... i doesn´t want to punish ppl for playing with their friends. Fact: and i told you again, something must happend or the swf treads will never stop.

    I agree, something has to be done. However, since you (generic "you", I don't mean you specifically) don't want to nerf SWF since it'd effectively be punishing people for playing with their friends, I think what the devs need to do is buff survivors in ways that don't affect SWF and then buff killers accordingly.

    No, we don't even need a new ranking system. The perceived disparity in the ranking system is a false pretense for occasions where a player isn't performing as well as they do. In a game, where you win or lose, there is going to be ALOT of losing.

    That is why we don't need a new ranking system. The cognitive dissonance surrounding singular losses is by no means a validated concern for unnecessary and widespread changes to a system that does work as intended (-/+6 ranks, with additional layers added as time goes on)

    Anyone who truly believe that matchmaking ranks are "broken" beyond "repair" should desist from this fruitless endeavor immediately. MMR is coming, which is as useless of a change as changing from Imperial to Metric. You're still going to be matched similarly to how you are now, but with slightly more precise means of rating measurements, instead of ranking.

    Assume every survivor team has comms and you can predict what their priorities are. Solved it for you

    I think the argument of splitting the community is old and dated. It's already split between SWF and solos. It's a very noticeable difference when the individual players are skilled. What takes a good group of solos a lot of effort to achieve can be done with much less skilled SWF because the power of communication.

    This is an interesting topic because at green and purple ranks, SWF teams (when im playing killer or part of the survivor group) seems to not be a big balance issue. I only notice an imbalance in the red rank SWF groups. I dont think it would make much sense to penalize less experienced players who just want to talk with their friends. In fact, when i play with lower rank SWF groups, I tend to see them make a lot of mistakes and often times do even more poorly.

    Rank resets need extending and rank cosmetics would be nice. I think the system is ok currently
