I had that happen a few weeks ago. The guy wanted to say it was lag but either I would down him and not be able to pick him up, or my hit would phase through him on a down hit. He didn't "lag" until it was time for him to get put on the hook.

You look laggy as hell even before swinging at the Ash, so yeah. Probably not Ash cheating.

You DC because of that? I got hard lagging issues recently depending on the time I play. I would at least try to play the game and see if that happens multiple times on the same survivor, rather than yelling "cheater" and eat a timeout

Agreed,just cause it happened once doesn't really mean anything. And dcing cause of 1 missed lunge is also dumb.

There were no lag issues during that game especially as I am physically connected making that brown stuff fly off a stick.
As for yelling cheating? I asked if it was cheating and why couldn't I down Ash. Bit extreme with your comment?
The DCing was due to it being early in the game and obviously something was wrong, why should I waste everyone's time?
As for eating a timeout the automated DC penalties are too small to worry about unless you constantly do so but that is another thread.

I have an idea,but nothing else. There's a lagswitch that has been going around since 3.6.2 or even earlier I think. It makes you run in 1 distance as a survivor,but you actually are somewhere completely else on your screen. So in essence,you turn invisible for some time technically,considering the body of the surv running is not urs.

Well, you asked in forum if it was cheating, but you DCed on purpose during that game. How should I understand that? And I answered your question right with my second sentence, you even responded to that.
I once had a No Mither double team and I could not hook one of them. Once hitting space, I get blocked and can't move/look/swing for like 5 seconds, and after that I can move again. But that is an issue I faced several times now and mostly it just randomly happening once a match. That guy had that every time I tried to hook him and I tried 4 times, then finished the game letting the guy bleed out by downing him like 10 times and reported him. So you can still have a normal game, you are wasting more time of people by DCing after a single occurence and a 5 minute queue.
I got hard lagging during the latest few days as I said, mostly on new Lerys and Midwhich. And that looked like either getting teleported back to stuff I got stuck on apparently because the server didnt read my movement properly or packages lost, or like the jittering like you had it which I saw mostly on survivors. Looks a bit like post phasing with the spirit, when it seems like there are multiple survivors phasing or short teleport bursts. Hard to describe. But that happens to me and your issue looks like kindof combination of these two, as you apparently got stucj at the tree you look at. This is my guess, but can't say because you would have needed to try to just hit that Ash afterwards to see if it happens multiple times and just on him or on other survivors as well
