DS should not function if you unhook in the killers terror radius.
Why is the killer punished when someone aggressively unhooks someone right in front of them and he Downs them. I'm not talking about Downing the person that was just unhooked I'm talking about downing the unhooker this is stupid and it's a total crutch perk that needs to be fixed.
The perk is meant to be an anti tunneling perk not a get-out-of-jail-free perk.

How does the hooked survivor have any control over being farmed or not by another.

Translation: "I can't tunnel or be toxic and that makes me salty.". Git gud and stop bothering Devs over made up problems.

It is, devs on a Q&A said "serve the purpose of protecting from being tunneled or farmed"

He says that the unhooker should not have DS
2 -
Ahhh as in using it to get a free save. Yeah I see that point.

Edit:I Misread it.
DS should be disabled on performing hook saves

Looks like somebody doesn't know how to read.

Yep, this happens to me all the time.
The only consolation is that I suppose it probably means you're winning.
But yeah, there are a lot of situations like this where it feels like survivors just expect you to AFK or something, because every reasonable action makes you a "scummy camper" or "noob tunneler".

I can agree with this. You unhook someone, in the killer's terror radius or not, DS deactivates.

Devs never called DS anti-tunneling. It’s anti-momentum
2 -
I don’t disagree btw. There should be factors that describe DS other than time

I don't think so, pyramid head being the tunnel king kind of exposes how ridiculously easy tunneling people off the hook is when BT/DS are not involved.
I usually don't get too much out of BT/DS anyways unless I am forced to use them because my team is in a dire situation. I probably get the most use out of them when the killer is camping the basement.
Say 2 people go down there, someone goes down to save one off the hook, and then they unhook the 3rd guy; their DS should deactive? I don't agree with that at all. That's literally saying the game should effectively be able to be ended off 2-3 attacks; depending on the killer.

While yes I do see your point, I cant help to think about if someone is being camped.
A lot of bubbas and ghostface players camp so i use my DS to hook bomb and get the unhook, I dont like wasting my DS but sometimes the situation calls for it.

your idea would work better the other way around. Personally i think ds lasts a bit too long otherwise its fine the way it is

So the survivor loses his perk for saving his mate or keeps its perk and let his mate die on hook? Stupid.
0 -
It's not an anti-tunnel perk.
It's meant to work this way.
It doesn't need any rework.

An Anti-Momentum perk in a game where most killers have pressure-problems. Enjoy your Freddy/Spirit/Billy games I guess.

If you suspect DS, then why aren't you slugging instead? Unless they're all running the same cosmetics, it can be fairly easy to remember who you hooked.

if someone who was just unhook trys to do unsafe unhooking DS shouldn't work for them imo.
also stop calling it a anti-tunnel perk it not it's a 2nd change perk it give survivor change to do something dumb getting away with it.

Not always an option whatever the hook is by and open exit gate make a crawl out before the DS timer ticks down Neko.
