the new anniversary event cakes are only giving 4% bonus bloodpoints instead of 104%

People are aware. Hopefully the devs are too and send out a hotfix soon.
In the meantime save your cakes and don't use them so they can be used at a later date when they actually work properly.

It's a little more complicated than that.
In a game I just finished with 4 Cakes + a level 2 BBQ&C (which I got all 3 tokens on) I had a base score of 15,677 BP and got a total award of 49,382 BP. That is a +215% bonus. So that's not my cake + BBQC (which would be 179%). It's not four cakes at 4% + BBQC (which would be +91%).
Not sure what it is, but it is definitely bugged.

The cakes are currently giving 140% bonus for the player using the offering. It’s supposed to be a like better, cheaper party streamers but like y’all see, it’s not working properly. Very disappointing.

Yeah, because 140% is so much better than 416%.
We wouldn't have this issue if they made it right the first time. One step forward 10 steps back.

My 4 man SWF is a guaranteed 416%. It's angering knowing it's not working properly.

I've been playing quite a bit today and I noticed this early on. Thought I was going crazy or something, sucks because I've seen so many cakes today.

Well, it is actually worth to abuse for killers right now.
Because you get 36% more bloodpoints with this bug. Survivors keeping their cakes to stack it as SFW later wont affect this, it's just delayed in time.

The bonus from the survivor cakes gets applied for the killer too, so no, it's not really worth for anyone to use the cakes now. If all 5 players bring cakes, every player including the killer gets 520% extra bloodpoints if it weren't bugged. The only way you get more points with the bug is if you are the only one bringing the cake. As soon as there are 2 people in the trial, everyone effectively loses some bonus.

But as a killer you can't be in a SWF ? You're always solo and you wouldn't need to care to spare your cakes for others as you're not in a quadraQ. So 140% for you is always better than 104% for yourself, that's again basic maths.
