Am I really that weird?
Sometimes I play music softly in the background of my matches. My roommate says that would be too disorientating for him ... It doesnt bother me really ... Does anyone else do this?

When I play Killer, game audio is the only thing I'm listening to

I do sometimes, but it depends on who I'm playing and who I'm against.. Sometimes I need to hear more than others.

When playing survivor I do have music or youtube videos on in the background. I wont be able to do that if I'm playing killer. The amount of times I have found people because of their breathing is too darn high.

I've sat here off my rocket drunk playing survivor with metal blasting. Did I play well? Weirdly yes.
With killer I have done it a few times, but music does effect game play a bit too much. Don't recommend.

funny enough most of the music i listen to during my matches do fairly decent DBD mash ups ... I play trap and stealth killers mostly (PH my main ... kinda counts ... but i play him to be a big chill guy, whacking kiddies who get in my way while im digging trenches ... never killing unless they keep getting in my way and walking on my trenches! ) Survivors I play mostly chill music to keep my blood pressure low ... lol.

I too am weird. This is my 666th post.
I'm hard of hearing so I don't have the privilege of using sounds to my advantage, so I just keep my head on a swivel and let the noise from youtube or whatever sink in. It's great.

i'm too bored playing survivor to play music. and for killer, it depends on my matches. if its chill then jazz or funny music
if it's a little more aggresive then maybe something like light rock.
and if toxic flashers teabagging with decisive and deadhard barrowed and adren.....then i do the following
1: grab a coke
2: grab my computer
3: pull up my chemical romance and or a rage montage
4: MORI MORI MORI MORI MORI MORI
5: go to the bathroom and RELEASE STRESS SO I CAN CUT MY THROAT LATER
6: go to bed and cry
this game gets me kinda emotional, and thars why i play kyf 90% of the time.

As a killer mang, i need all the audio info i can get. I'm not experiencing the sound bugs going on for other killer players but i understand.
Audio cues are life for killers...

I always have music playing when I'm playing DBD. I also always have music playing when I play any other game too. Just kinda always been my thing. Its so normal to me now that I feel off when I don't have music on while gaming.

I tried listening to music while playing the game and it doesn't work for me at all. I just have to have my full attention on the game with no audio disturbance lol.

tbh in this game sounds are important so listenining to music while trying to concentrate in the game can be hard... specially as killer.
