Hello Jake, I want to play a game. (AKA Grudges against specific characters?)
Just wondering if anyone else has developed a seething hatred for any specific survivor? Not a specific player, just the character.
Three times last night, a sodding Jake set off every hex trap in a half-mile radius and then unhooked me right in the middle of the maelstrom of Hags. Three times, he ended my game by being a selfish prick. Why can't Jake play against Hags? WHY!?
Switched to killer, and there he is... Jake Park... in my lobby. Hello Jake! Needless to say, that player had a pretty miserable time because of the actions of his brother Jakes. I couldn't help it - red mist. Switch back to survivor and I find myself dropping out of lobbies when a Jake appears because I just can't stand to look at his stupid face!
Argh.
(Ok, bit of a rant... but there is a question in there).

I hate David King and Ace because i met so many David/Ace players who were working with the killer. And even if they don't they always do things that aren't smart at all. I am not leaving the lobby when i see some but i play extremely cautious.0

Haha, thought I was the only one. It's not all hate, but I get different feelings from each of the survivors.

And, to an extent, your character choice sometimes teaches you to play differently than you thought you might. By the time you've perked up enough to eradicate the differences between survivors, I think the "damage" is often already done.
Why is there always a Dwight in a locker when I go to pick up extra hatchets?* Why do Hags never give hatches (I have a video of the one and only nice-guy Hag I've ever seen since playing DbD)? And (of course) why does Jake always f**k up the rescue? God damn moron Parks.
I'm meaner as Amanda than I am Huntress, for some reason.
Edit: * In fact, why is Dwight in a locker so common that it's become a thing???
Edit 2: On the opposite side of the coin, I often find myself letting Fengs go or treating them too nicely. There's something about her little face that prevents me from slapping them around too much.

If I see more than one Claudette in a group I go for the throat right off the bat instead of slowly ramping stuff up.
Dealing with a SWF group that last second swapped to all Claudettes with dark clothes, TWO new moon bouquets, and a Red Forest offering with each toting purple flashlights will do that to you...1 -

I will go for Jake first because I’ve been noticing more players saboing hooks to 99% and then breaking them when I have a Survivor on my shoulder, so I don’t want take any chances.
Whenever I’m Doctor, I’ll prioritize Survivors who are running Calm Spirit.0 -
I really hate feng and Kate's. They always think they are untouchable both on my team and when I'm killer. When I play killer they even hop into the hatch right in front of me thinking I going to let them go. Then I receive messages sometimes saying you're supposed to let me go and stuff. And when they're in my team I think it's even worse. They always rescue me in front of the killer and usually end up sandbagging me by accident. I just grew to hate them.0

I do get the most satisfaction out of hitting Claudette’s. Probably from all the P3 Claudette OchiDO 12 year olds annoying the ######### out of me I’ve developed a satisfaction in murdering her.
Ace is a close second as most Ace’s farm me off the hook and are generally dumb asses that get me killed.0 -
Hate Dwights. For some random reason, in my games they either good loopers or toxic asf.0

When I was getting my Cannibal masks, Jake was one that I had to tunnel once or twice. I would actually message people and ask them to swap to Jake. One time a whole team did it for me. XD they didn't let me kill them of course. That would be "wrong"0

I don't currently tunnel anyone. It's boring focusing on any one human. There are four of them to play with.
occasionally I will swap my focus to a claudette. They tend to be difficult to track0 -
The deal with Dwights is that:
1) He is the default Survivor. Meaning new players are more likely to pick him. Therefore they tend to hide in lockers because a first impression is that such strategy is safe.
2) He is a meme because of the previous reason. Toxic players would play him because of that. And always with the bald head.
As for other characters, for me:
- Jake, Tapp and Ace are too rare for me to give them a category.
- Claudette and Meg are the tryhards/meta perk users. They are the kind of players you suspect have DS even though there is no obsession.
- Nea is the trolly one, but not in a toxic way.
- Lauries are just newish players trying to get her Adept achievement.
- David is the failed toxic player and failed altruism.
- Feng means rubberbanding.
- Quentin means no awareness around him (even though he is my main and its not my playstyle)
- Kate is the decent player with no notable traits.0 -
I love Laurie but dang it if I encountered one too many Lauries who are toxic and purposely screw with killers below their level. I want to be nice to Lauries but they have to be jerks so they die.
Now Megs are the worst. I know I’m in for a rough unfun time when they’re bloody or have the fancy clothes.0 -
Not really, but for whatever reason I notice that Davids are either easier to find or generally lower skilled players, because it seems I am constantly running into them (or they into me) on killer. So if I scatter a group of 3 players off a generator and one is a David, I probably choose to chase him, because I figure my odds of downing and killing him are greater than chasing the others.
After that, I go after anyone in bright clothing, and generally anyone who is not a Claudette, because I am blind and can't see them.

There are two that I have this weird obsession with. The first is Laurie. I am a Halloween fan, trying to kill Laurie just makes sense. The second is David. I have such a loathing for all Davids. The smug looks on their faces, makes me want to......ok, must calm down.

Anyone who screws a fellow survivor for thier own sake. ie ratting em out, bb'ing a vault or doorway, or unhooking even if im right there. Ill go for those types 1st. No certain survivor yet but hate facing the Huntress for some reason lol

I had almost let go of this Jake hatred. Even stopped torturing them unnecessarily with Amanda.
Working a gen with a Jake last night, Billy arrives to spoil the bonding session. Jake runs, I urban loop the gen and get back to work. Five seconds later Jake and Billy are back and the nobhead Jake brings him right over to the gen (which, in its position, would serve no purpose to help him escape other than to tempt the killer into attacking me instead)!
Well FU Jake!. I escaped my hook, and a few minutes later I go to rescue someone off a hook... I'm sure you can guess what happened next.
Serves you right you goddamn liability. Pig mask back on, you're all going to suffer again!

I can't stand Pigs. The RBT mechanic is a load of nonsense. If you are gonna kill me just do it already. I'm so sick of this "slow down gens" nonsense. I have it said on my Steam profile and I will say it here: ", You trap me and you'll get a kill, but not before I get two gens off." Why don't you come and kill me in person rather than wait for your stupid toy to do it, huh? I'm just waiting for the Saboteur buff that'll let me break the trap without a key.1

Not really hate, but "Yellow Dwight" is sort of a chat meme when I stream.
I once had this really cocky Dwight in the Ellis skin who had evaded me all game. At the exit, he got a bit too cocky and greedy and ended up getting downed just short of being able to make it out. He got the hook for his efforts.
Since that day we've had a saying
"Yellow Dwight got greedy, yellow Dwight got dead. Don't be yellow Dwight"
And thus the meme and my first emote was born.
