New Chapter Idea: God's Curse (Outlast 2)
Please give me feedback. This is probably the third or fourth time I made a killer idea and the second time I made a new chapter idea. Also, feel free to tell me some things that may need changing. It is only an idea after all and I want to hear your thoughts! I am starting on the killer but will make the survivor post in a little bit (maybe). This took me about an hour to write so I hope you like the idea as much as I do! Also, if I missed anything that you think should be in here, don't be afraid to tell me! I can handle it!
New Map: Abandoned Village
New Map Group: (I don't know what to call this yet but somewhere in Arizona)
New Killer: The Gospel (or maybe The Witch still haven't decided)
Attributes:
Movement Speed: 4.2 m/s
Terror Radius: 32 meters
Height: Average
Attack: The Gospel has a slow charge up time before attacking (like The Oni during his power). During this time, her movement speed is slowed. The wind up time takes around 2 seconds without add-ons. After striking down, survivors are Grounded for 5 seconds. Grounded survivors move at a slower speed and can no longer vault windows or palettes. They also do not gain a burst of movement speed when they are hit (you know that movement speed burst after you hit a survivor? I'm talking about that). After The Gospel is finished attacking, she suffers a cooldown penalty for attacks just like every other killer.
Abilities:
God's Wrath: The Gospel charges up her ability for 3 seconds, slowing her down drastically. During this time, she readies her pickaxe. After 3 seconds, she throws her pickaxe in a line. If it hits a survivor, she reels them in using a rope attached to the base of the pickaxe. This action is almost immediate, causing the survivor to be unable to struggle or catch on anything like with The Deathslinger. The Gospel pulls the hit survivor right in front of her, causing the Grounded effect on the survivor and allowing her to activate her second ability. This ability goes on a 15 second cooldown after use (can be modified with add-ons). If The Gospel hits a wall, a palette, or anything that isn't a survivor, she pulls herself to that location, causing a short reduction of speed. Note that using this to chase survivors will in fact be faster than just chasing them normally.
Call to God: While God's Wrath is on cooldown, this ability may be activated for 30 seconds. After activating this ability, The Gospel closes her eyes for 5 seconds. During this time, she is slowed down and cannot see a thing. If she is stunned or blinded during this time, the ability activates immediately. Otherwise, it takes 5 seconds to activate. After 5 seconds, The Gospel opens her eyes and activates the ability for 30 seconds. During this time, her FOV is increased by 14°, everything turns black and white, and The Gospel gains a 15% Haste status effect.. While this is happening, survivors gain the Oblivious status effect until the ability is disabled.
Perks:
Bone Breaker: Pleasing your lord by breaking the bones of ones who appose him fills you with excitement. After hitting a survivor, this perk activates for 30/40/60 seconds. During this time, any survivor who takes a protection hit or is hit after unhooking or healing a survivor within 5 seconds will gain the Hindered status effect for 10/11/12 seconds. "Do you hate him, God? Do you hate him? God? Do you want him? Then you'll have him." -Marta
Slay the Wicked: Hearing your lord whisper to you causes your heart to beat faster. After hitting a survivor, all other survivors who doing any action that has Skill Checks will be faced with a tremendously difficult Skill Check. Missing the skill check will not cause any regression on the action (unless it is at tier 3) and will cause a loud noise effect on the survivors. If no survivors are doing any actions that requires skill checks, the next time they begin to do one of these actions, the skill check will be given to them then. Does not stack (as in if you hit 2 survivors, a survivor will not get 2 skill checks in a row). Has a cooldown of 30/25/20 seconds. "Will you slay the wicked, Lord?" -Marta
Hex: Penance: The more you fail to please the lord, the more pain you must endure. Once the Exit Gates are powered, if there is a Dull Totem remaining on the Map, this Hex is applied to it. When the End Game Collapse begins, this perk activates. The End Game Collapse timer is also paused while this totem is still standing. The Hex Totem also has a louder burning noise than other Hex Totems, and will be brighter than normal totems, making it the easiest to spot depending on its location. Depending on how many survivors are left in the match, this perk grows stronger. 4 survivors: the Exit Gates are able to be closed by your hand, leaving it at 50% on the progress bar. The Exit Gate opening is blocked off by the entity. 3 survivors: the Exit Gates are able to be closed by your hand, leaving it at 99% on the progress bar. 2 survivors. the Exit Gates are able to be closed by your hand, but automatically open after 15 seconds of closing. 1 survivor: this perk does not activate. The Hex Totem is automatically reverted to a Dull Totem after 30/60/120 seconds after being activated and the perk deactivates. The End Game Collapse timer resumes after the perk is deactivated. The Hex effects persist as long as the related Hex Totem is standing. "Yes, Lord, like a pig."
Extras:
None that I can think of for now.

If this is Marta, I don't think they will take her. They said they wouldn't choose a killer based on real religions. And Marta is veryyyy into Knoth's Christian cult muttering about God and Jesus all the time. Outlast 2 itself has a very real religion driven story.
And before you mention Plague being a priestess, her religion is fictional and that doesn't count. Or maybe even not practiced anymore. But DBD's rules are rules unless the change them . Still a cool concept regardless. 10/10

Actually I was thinking of Outlast Chapter when I saw your ideas.
I think the new map should be Blood Rain Mine which features the mine, Temple Gate and the factory tower owned by the evil company.
The new killer of this Chapter should be The Phantom, better known as The Walrider.

I like your map idea better but if it were to be The Walrider, then shouldn't the map be the asylum? The Walrider barely shows up in Outlast 2 (I don't even remember if he does show up) but he isn't an antagonist in Outlast 2 like Marta is. Although the Walrider does sound like a cool killer idea who can maybe phase through walls or something as his ability? I'll think about it and possibly come up with an idea but the map and the Walrider don't really fit together since the Walrider is part of the first game and the DLC while Marta is part of the 2nd game.
