Brilliant idea, instead of threads with the title "i let everybody get a crown" you will create threads "always bring moris to secure the kills needed for the crown". How is that a good idea in your head?

do you remember how hard it was for killer the previous events? to tthe point that actually NO ONE PLAYED KILLER or they played but wasted an stupid amount of hours in order to get them, and just Survivor in order to get the event? was lunar event? i dont remember was hilarious. then devs buffed the event for killers but still was way easier as survivor, now FOR ONCE is a little bit harder for survivors to get something and then theyy complain when always was way harder for killer.
to be in the same route why do killers have to get a merciless match with shity perks (most time) to get adept and survivors just escape?. there are lots of unfair stuff and one event is not remarcable by any mean

So a Survivor is not allowed to make the game easier for the Killer by suiciding into them, but the Killer is allowed to make the game easier for the Survivors by going AFK? That sounds completely fair. /s
A Survivor is not allowed to make the game harder for the Killer by looping them the whole match and escaping, but the Killer is allowed to make the game harder for the Survivors by camping, tunneling, and slugging? That sounds completely fair. /s

Hardly anyone is letting people get the crown, first off. It's sweet when they do, and not expected, but most people are witnessing sweaty tunneling on crown holders instead. And I said someone suggested that, or letting survivors keep the crowns as long as they don't DC/kill themselves on hook. Moris aren't even a big deal, at least the killers would be playing towards their prize. There were other ways they could have handled a limited time event is what I'm getting at.

Yet you have streamers like ayrun who do play killer because they are bored by the amount of farming going on when they play survivor.
Sure they could have handled it diffrently but I doubt that there is a perfect solution which makes everybody happy.

Because then the survivor is making the game harder for their team. If the killer is doing it, it isn't making it harder for anyone else. If the survivor is doing it, they're making it harder for potentially three different people who just want to play the game.
Additionally, I never mentioned anything about survivors not being able to loop the killer to make the match harder. If you want to try and prove a point, keep it on topic.

It probably has nothing to do with difficulty and everything to do with the fact survivors are a team, there's 4 of them.
Sure it's not preferable if a killer gets their crown and then AFKs, but at the end of the day it doesn't hurt anyone that bad. If anything it lets the survivors get their crowns easily as well so it could be considered a nice thing from an event perspective.
If survivors just had to either pick up the crown at all or something they'd probably do the same, or get hooked + suicide on hook as fast as possible to get a new game to repeat the process. And as they do so they screw over 3 other people, both when it comes to the normal game of doing gens and trying not to die and their chances of getting crowns and getting out with them. If you ask me that's far more "destructive" than a killer going AFK.
And sure some people will explicitly "play for salt" and do stuff like try to ensure someone with a crown doesn't escape just to annoy them, but people like that are trolls and will find a way no matter what. They're probably the same people that full-time sabotaged event hooks when that was a thing, or even DCd to deny event hooks. And threw entire matches just to make absolutely sure an event generator didn't get finished. It's not a killer or survivor thing, it's a mindset that can be applied to just about any role in any game.

Cuz survivors will just kill themselves on hook like with the hallowed blight, plus the ranking system is dogshit so imagine u needed 4 kills to get the crown but verse smth u are not supposed to verse. Im red rank on both roles and constantly verse greens and even yellows for whatever reason.

Make stupid comments, you'll get insult and have your stupidity called out. The solution is to make it easier for survivor, not harder for killer. And for the love of god, don't try and use anecdotes in your arguments, it's doesn't help with the whole stupidity thing you've got going on.

I'd just change it so all you'd need to do is make it to the end game, if the end game triggers and you have a crown you'll get it, regardless is you are killed.

Its insane that people keep complaining about this.
Survivors goal is to survive. Sorry if you find that frustrating, or unfair, but it isn't that hard. Also, if you find it frustrating to survive as a Survivor I don't know what else to tell you but to play Killer or play something else.
As an aside, if the Killer decides to do nothing once they pick up the crown there is no reason you shouldn't get out with the Crown aas a Survivor. They are literally giving everyone a crown when they do this. Why is this something to complain about at all?

has anyone complaining played a previous DbD event?
This is far and away the easiest event to max out we have ever had and I cannot believe people are complaining.
I think a massive THANK YOU for not making us grind for a fortnight non-stop to earn cosmetics, is in order more than anything!
Just my thought on the matter.
