Who are the most underrated survivors and killers?

Everyone is always talking about who is the "best" and "worst" survivors and killers and how great or bad their perks are but who are some underrated characters?

You kinda feel left out when everyone is hyping up a certain survivor or killer and no one even mentions your favorite character. What are some things you think are underrated about your favorite ones?

For killers, Plague. A good Plague is fearsome. I wouldn't say she's my favorite, that goes to Pig so far, but she's powerful.

For survivor's, Adam. He can blend with his black outfit if that is your wish. Deliverance is kind of hilarious and I pulled it off tonight against a Nurse. Same with Pebble. I was able to save someone by causing an explosion, and when I was downed right at hatch, I threw another Pebble at her face. We don't talk about the last skill.

I completely agree that the Plague and Adam are underrated characters. I've rarely played against the Plague but when I have it was always a TUFF match. It was annoying that I was always drinking water and I was always getting sick when I was trying to help people but that's what makes the Plague a good killer.

I've played with Adam a few times and you're completely correct when you say he's underrated because he's always the last remaining survivor and he's always the one getting the most work done.

Bubba for killer 1000%. For survivor I'd say Nancy.

Yeah plague can be scary. I've seen a few share of really good plagues. I would say I'm one of them.

Demo is extremely underrated and will be forever until he has a 99% playrate at high ranks

Clown is definetly underrated. I play him often because I find him fun, and he is actually good if played right.

My opinion would be Clown and Wraith are underrated as far as killers go

And I don't think survivors matter because they are just a skin they all do the same thing.

I'm starting to think Legion is underrated. You'll always find Legion at the bottom of tier lists (including mine), but they tend to 4K quite often in my solo games since teammates love to heal Vs. Legion even though it's mostly pointless.

The only killer that matters. Every other killer is temporary. Demo is eternal.

I think people underrate Legion and Bubba the most. Are they top tier? No. They definitely have weaknesses and some clunky mechanics. But the way some people go on you’d think they’re completely garbage when they’re just not. Against the mythical “fully optimal four man SWF that never make mistakes” they’d lose, obviously, but then so would every other killer except a god Nurse.

I also think a lot of people underrate Trapper, but I may be biased as a current Trapper main.

Legion is B tier but everybody sleeps on him.

Legion. I just bought them and I don't understand why people say they suck. I just got six 4ks in a row with them.

legions is bad if survivors just split up trough the map, that's all it takes for being countered

    Have to disagree with autodidact.

It is actually a decent perk, underrated actually. It saved me a lot of time during thana, sloppy combo against sluggers or not. Being able to heal someone from downed to fully healthy in less than 10 seconds with these debuff is a godsend. Maxing 5 stacks isnt that uncommon either, usually having all 5 stacks after 3 heals. On first heal I on average have 2 or 3 stacks already. Put solidarity into it and healing even against legion isnt that bad, as both you and the other survivor will be both healthy in just a few seconds.

    Autodidact is underrated.

Hmmm, you know I'll try running it later this evening. I still haven't gotten his adept or crown, so we'll see if I can get a lot of use out of it. I've seen streamers run it, and always make fun of it. Might actually be as good as you say and I just didn't think for myself in this instance.

It only hinders your healing for the first 2 skill checks. If you dont get any, it wont change anything. Once maxed it really shines and saves a lot of time. A lot of pr0 strimmers will say to bot heal but just do gen, especially in cases of debuffs being present. Autodidact completely nullifies that (skill checks required, so small RNG is still there).

I am torn between botany and autodidact, as botany is good overall passive healing buff, but autodidact can make so many clutch plays or nullify killer's momentum, it really can be annoying to the killer seeing recently injured or slugged guy be picked then healed to full in just few seconds.

Try it for few games and see for yourself.

Empathy or Bond is a good pair, solidarity isnt bad to make it more time healing more time efficient, spine chill is good for these clutch plays.

Survivors have a lot of perks that are not seeing a lot of use but are actually really useful and good, but are outshined by 2016 meta perks.

    Clown and Trapper.

Clown is just really good at zoneing or preventing the surv from getting to a loop in time.

Trapper, if setting up good its almost everytime atleast a 3k. The first time i played him with agitation for a challenge from the first tome i just 4kd easily, its like some survs are avoiding loops because thinking i trapped it and others arent thinking about it at all and i can push them into my traps while wasting good pallets.

On survivor side i think there are some perks that are overused and some you see often. For my part i can only say that we are gonna live forever is one of my favorite perks overall. For the perks that arent seen very often, well there is a reason for it. I wouldnt even say there are underrated perks noone uses, because some perks are just not good enough to even consider using them. Others are build dependant.
