ghastly gateau aint stacking
it seems the the 4th anniversary cakes arent stacking, i just finished a game where 3 cakes went up and my dookie 9k only went up to 20k
anyone else have this problem

Well known. They found this out after "investigation" aka US TELLING THEM.
and FOURTY EIGHT HOURS LATER it still isn't fixed. How hard could it be to change and item we didn't need a patch for?

Yes It's a big banner across the top of the home page. Day 3 of the anniversary event and counting. Not only are they not stacking, they are giving a 140% increase instead of 104%.

They didn't need a patch for the event, because they already implemented it with Patch 4.0.0, but said in the code that it activates at a certain time.
For changes, however, it's still possible that they need a patch, which would need to pass the certification process on consoles.

they need to impliment a hotfix to fix the gateaus but how soon or how fast theyll do it is unsure. they might not be fixed while the event is live, a quick solution would be to just activate a 3x bloodhunt so we can get 540% with either bbq or were gonna live forever.

How do you know this? If this is true thats the worst damn news. So we need a GD patch for this so basically not today not tomorrow not the next day either.
They REALLY need to get on their game. They make WAY too many stupid mistakes

Because that's how these timed events work. You can't just implement new things without the corresponding code being there. And they stated that they work a few months ahead, so it would make sense.
As I am not a game dev, they could implement some kind of workaround for the bp gains for sure, but I think a hotfix would be the better choice here.

But isn't that what they do for double blood events? Like the bloodrush corona virus one. Unless there was a patch right before that too I dont recall.
edit nvm its all probably there already. So they really should turn on GD double blood.

Acho que um bug no item mais esperado e exclusivo do evento de aniversário é algo realmente feio. E a falta de cuidado é evidente quando olhamos para o texto final do item, onde ele nem foi alterado e aparece como um terceiro aniversário (aqui vale ressaltar que não sei se foi um erro na tradução e localização para o meu país, mas tenho quase certeza de ter visto esse erro no texto na versão em inglês)
