Events bring out the worst in the community to the point where I don't even want them anymore
It's not fun when you have squads of people whose only goal is to make the other people in the match have as little fun as possible while trying to do event related things or even just be chill. Nothing but 4 minute games while I'm looking for the crown and no one even wants to farm hits or hooks they just leave like what is fun about tbagging a killer who wasn't even trying when all you did was m1 a gen?
I'd rather just have bonus BP for a month and all cosmetics just given to us or over time. ######### having events the community can't handle it.

its probably due to survivors needing to escape and really what is the point in staying to farm until the cakes are working?
Each player has a range of characters to play if they want all the cosmetics so there will be rushing from a lot of players.
Both sides are as bad as each other In any events. I myself managed a few survivor games to try and get crowns last night on various chars with 3 out of the 6 having ebony mori's. This could also be a good reason to rush and try to secure the crown.
It works both ways unfortunately.

I'm tired of the event already. Play as survivor you have killer that's afk, killer that is facecamping first sparkly survivor they down, or killer that moris immediately after first hook. Try to play as killer and the waits are long because people switched over for easy crown or were tired of facecamp/mori. Rather it be a double bloodpoint weekend than two weeks of this.

😂 Of course a killer main is not going to understand it's possible to prefer something in the middle of two extremes so a match isn't 5 minutes long and low in bloodpoints.
I also complained about the killer wait times being obnoxious. I'm not happy with this event from either side. 🤷♀️

Yeah, except literally nothing you do as a killer ever pleases survivors anyway. Not even trying to just be nice and letting them out during the event.
Spent an evening and some change just letting people get crowns and such and got ######### on most of the time for it, but then they also bitched if I played "normally" and killed them.
Ultimately I might as well just anti-golden rule and just do what I like, everyone else be damned. Because nothing will meet with their approval anyway.

I wasn't trying to imply there isn't killers ruining games too, I just didn't focus on that aspect. My bigger point is that people suck lol.

Turn off messaging/close chat, you'll enjoy the game a whole lot more and not be so bitter. This community as a whole has alot of sore winners/losers on both sides. If you're going to be nice do it just because you enjoy it, and with messaging turned off you won't have someone ruin that.
I've had some farming killers, I've enjoyed them because we all get decent amount of bloodpoints after. I have my crowns now so any killer I come across farming I have them kill me. If they refuse that 3rd hook I just wait for the entity to take me so they get those sacrifice points. The ones that go hide in a corner are the ones I have a problem with because just doing gens really doesn't get you many BP and wastes bps/cakes that were played.
I also have no problem with the killers playing normal, I actually prefer they do - I'm getting more BP that way because of saves, chases, gens, etc. and the match lasts quite awhile. It's normal cat/mouse matches I enjoy and keep me playing this game. If I escape awesome, if I die atleast I had chances to try and escape. The ones that just face camp or mori after first hook are making the match end quickly and with few bloodpoints - which is just a waste of BPS or cakes.

So how does this differ from normal gameplay outside of the event? I actually have to say that I did not face a single mori since the event started. Btw during double bloodpoints you would bring up the same complaints, as moris lower your BP. During no event at all, probably as well. So I don't really get your point

I don't like ebony moris, facecamping, or afk killers to begin with for that reason but normally I don't see them too often, even during double BP weekends. Since this event started I've seen more than usual. Guess you're lucky to not have seen one. 🤷♀️
