Salty question but actually curious...

Ebony and Ivory both have good use.
Because you still see alot of Mori's? Think about it logically. If Mori's are actually pretty common to get. Which we all know they are. That means every killer has some lying around. Which gives you good odds that somebody, either out of frustration, needing to do a daily, or them simply feeling like it will use them. Not every game. But they're still fairly common.

You guys are getting Ebony Moris?

The big difference is that if you use a mori, it's gone forever. If you go into the match with a key, you don't even have to use it, you can escape with it through the gate and be able to use it in the next match. Also if you use plunderers you can get more keys from the matches themselves so it's balanced as it is.

I dont play Killer much, my highest level killer is only 26. I've never gotten an Ebony to appear in the bloodweb for any of my killers. Just Cypress ones. Every time I have a killer reach the next level, I hope for an Ebony to appear so I can work on a Kill by any means necessary challenge. I lag badly as a killer, so I dont get many kills. Once it gets really bad in a match, I let them go.

Bloodweb are random. So everyone's experience is different. I barely have any personally.

Because keys are more broken than moris

Btw love how you only really see salty survivors and not killers like for when ruin got nerfed killers were mad but didn't ######### about it but if decisive strike got nerfed they'd be outraged

If you don't "know about that last part", you don't play DBD.
Mori's are popular among low-skilled killers. Experienced killers do not make a habit of using mori's unless it's for a challenge. It's not a matter of opinions. It's observable fact. You don't get hundreds of ebony mori offerings when you use them all the time. Period.

Mori's are pretty rare, yes, but the point was that I've seen them a bit more than you say they appear.
And I do play the game pretty regularly. If anything mori's are most common at about Green ranks, so more in the middle than in the lower ranks.
I never see them in the brown and yellow ranks, though.

Outlier cases. In general, they aren't common.
And yes, mori's are most common among green ranks, you're correct. Reason being, anyone can get to green rank killer fairly easily, and usually in one session.

I'm almost purple rank and I still see them constantly.

I went against a devotion 12 killer that showed me he had ~250 ebony moris on his wraith and about the same on another in screenshots after our match. Not nearly as many ivory, but like everyone is saying it depends on the killer because some don't have their own ultra anything so it'll be a guaranteed ebony when they do get one because there's nothing else 'ultra' to get.
Don't remember what we were talking for, nothing hostile. He was playing Legion and damn good to boot though.
He said he probably would have twice as many ebony if he didn't use them every other game for trouble makers. From my time playing killer I definitely see them more often than people seem to want to let on. Gee, I wonder why.

Yeah I get really confused when people say they don't see them often lol. I legit see one AT LEAST every other bloodweb.. sometimes 2 in one bloodweb.

Honestly, as a killer I get an insane amount of ebony mori's. I found about 3 in a single bloodweb, it was insane. Playing as both a survivor AND a killer, I think it's a extremely unfair because there's already one hit downs, mori's off first hook, and toxic killers. I don't see an issue with mori's, but I do have an issue with the fact that OP favors/perks/add-ons can be used together and take over a game, not allowing survivors even a small chance. Paired with multiple games like this in a row can make the game INCREDIBLY unenjoyable.

I think it's the toxicity that makes it bad, honestly. If it wasn't the mori off first hook, I wouldn't mind.

Survivors got more URs. That's the main reason. Like some people mentioned, Plunderers and Ace in the Hole basically guanrantees you a key every match.

Have lvld up a few killers yellow mori is like candy it's in 1 in 5 webs first 0 to 50 maybe 2-3 greens. Pres. 1 about the same but you might get 1-3 red mori. Pres.2 less yellows and maybe 3-5 reds. Pres.3 almost no yellows and red can vary in my experience. Clown got the most by far 20-30 red mori in his webs Pres 3, 0-50 . Didn't get nearly that many when I pres. 3 on doctor like 5 before 50. Varies per killers. And maybe your personal luck with RNG. Some have while others don't and then the rest of us get ######### on.

20-30 red moris is a lot though...
0 -
Yeah but it's RNG and clown I've used about 12 and only 4k on 2-3. I have gotten about 10 on a couple others but clown was my wildcard apparently
0 -
I mean even if you're not getting 4k you are probably still getting 2-3k
0 -
The point in that was before pres. 1 you get no red mori, and after pres 3 you get a ######### ton of them, depending on your RNG luck. Any other clown mains gotten that many no idea, maybe the entity loves all the fingers it can get and has chosen me to get them. (Hardly the case but oh well, ######### happens. Scream for me, accept my liquid courage and show me your fingers!)

Interesting way to put it o-O
