Cakes still broken, and you guys think they can fix Matchmaking? Lol
I mean we have something that is the exact same as last year, except increase 103 to 104% and they haven’t been able to fix it for four days now.
Does anyone actually have faith this same team can program an type of MMR matchmaking that takes multiple things into account and gives you anything resembling a fair match?
They literally may as well be throwing darts at things right now with how this game goes.

I think that all that's going to happen is that ranks are hidden and nothing actually changes, but no one prove that nothing was changed because the Elo / MMR could just be hidden and there is no way to prove it just doesn't exist.

heck no i dont think they can fix matchmaking. they havent been able to fix their current system in years. a brand new system? can't wait to see how that falls apart.

They are just evolving into other gaming company business models. If it doesn't make them money, they ignore it. They focus on cosmetics and chapters. I have seen bugs that were here in 2018 still happening. I gave up on that a long time ago, I just play the game for what it is.

This was my first thought when they said they want to hide rank and MMR. They could simply say "yeah we have a system" when in reality they having nothing but a random matchmaker for faster Q times and NOONE would be able to proof it.

And you know what's sad? It works. The community STILL throws them all the money they have just for new content. As long as WE don't change our behaviour they have no reason to do so aswell.
I by myself stopped already and only will continue spending money when things change.

Right, you almost can’t blame them for it either because we are HOOKED. It’s a tried and true method, get people to put so much time into a game that they feel compelled to stay even though it’s buggy or they don’t enjoy it. World of Warcraft is still making money selling pets and mounts despite its best days being LONG behind it.
You even see forum posts on a lot of game sites saying, “I don’t even enjoy this game anymore but I’m so invested in my character I’ll play til they shut down severed.”

It's a problem in many games today. From a business view point, it's genius, but as a consumer it is pretty shady. Sports games is where I feel like EA started this flagship trend. People were paying thousands of dollars for in game players, cards for FIFA etc, it's insane what people will pay for in games now.

I am guilty for game investment, I have played WoW since 2004, and sometimes I feel like I play it out of habit or obligation. I have never spent money on in game pets or mounts though. I don't hate people for getting them, but I hate that they aren't in game obtainable and they look better than what Blizzard gives us for in game rewards, aka reskins and different color variations of the same mount. (A little off topic, but a good example).

Dont Get me wrong, I like the cosmetics aswell. But I have always the state of dbd in my mind and I know buying these skins will make things only worse for everyone.

thats why you see dbd mobile is in such a better state as is normal version. Hack they even have bots, rewards, and can buy addons and offerings what they want. No need to insane grind as we do. And thats beyond me why its still not implemented in original version as well.

I bought a charity pet mount combo once. But I have NEVER let me sub lapsed despite going over a month not logging in or maybe logging in 3-4 times over a 6 month period
