Oni Blood Fury not working

edited July 2020 in Bug Reporting

Hi, for some reason the activation of Blood Fury its not working properly despite having the power fully charged. I have to hit a survivor again to make it work... A very annoyng bug. It happened multiple times in a single match, in the Yamaoka temple.

Im on PC.

How to reproduce the bug:  Passively recharging the yamaoka wrath forbids to Oni the use of blood fury until you hit a survivor again.

I have the same problem. The meter is red and it's telling me to hold Left Ctrl to activate, but when i do, nothing is happening sometimes. It can really ruin a match for me when i really need the power but i just can't use it.

This occurs when Blood Fury passively reaches 100% on the gauge. I'm not sure if the devs are aware of this, although I've posted my own report.

Glad i'm not the only one so they can fix it. It don't happen always, but when it does.. it certainly can give the survivors an unfair advantage.

So any chance that this bug will get a fix in the next patch?? Passively recharging the yamaoka wrath forbids the oni the use of blood fury until you hit a survivor again... The killer is broken

I've made 3 diff posts about this in the last 2 weeks, and the devs still haven't even acknowledged it... But if DH or DS wasn't activating, that ######### would've been fixed within 48hrs. I just don't get it.. 🤷‍♂️

Yep no doubt about that... Killer related bugs usually take months to get fixed and there are some that even celebrated their birthday more than one time and still there.

But this is a mayor bug that forbid the use of your power. So i was hoping that they take the time to fix this soon.. But so far it have more than a month, to my knowledge. it may have more.

I know the power is still broken, but they said they fixed his power in patch 4.0.2

It's sad that I collecting tons of cake on Oni and now I have to stop playing him cause I can't use his power. Hoping the devs fix them soon

Hmm.. i read the patch notes and it says "Fixed an issue that prevented Blood Fury from activating if the power meter was filled up while carrying a Survivor"

But that doesn't make any sense because you don't have to be carrying a survivor for this bug to happen... you just have to fill the power passively in no matter what situation..

Looks like they weren't aware by that time when the patch come or they need to test things better.. i reported this bug before the patch in june 18.

Yep it sucks, i have him on p3 with lots of addons and offerings and i can't play properly with this annoyance. I do hope that they take the time to properly fixing it next time.
