Aaaaand I'm about to give up.Found another crown and was about to give it to the killer in the hopes he'd let me go. Suddenly the pedestal vanishes before my own eyes.This is not worth it.^ Ignore this

worse event so far killer go out of they way to be toxic keeping us from getting cosmetic other survivor who can't get it take the crown it mess need to be fixed.

I feel like getting Crown Cosmetic should depend (on Survivor's side, maybe Killer's too) on getting Black Pip or +1 Pip. On Red Ranks that I play actually escaping alive is rare occurence, rather what matters is how well You played overall in the match. In Hallowed Blight, event similar to this one, at least You were allowed to keep some of the Nectar even if You died. Now it's all up to chance that You run into potato Killer at Red Ranks.

Anyway have you gotten it on video?
You might want to submit a ticket if something on your end is bugged. Maybe they'll award the cosmetic to you if you have evidence you completed it?

Yep, and as a red rank killer I also realize that getting 3k is pretty much required to get a ruthless. Many times a 4k gets you ruthless. But thanks for checking what I realize.

not to mention there are 4 survivors running around entire match looking for them, half of the matches I dont even see a crown as killer, let alone stop chasing someone to go get it LOL

There are many more factors that affect the match, not only may the killer use 'strats' like tunnel and facecamp which happens a lot may I add, survivors will focus on finding the crown instead of doing the main objective of the survivor as you just said, its just such a waste of time that makes it more likely for the survivors not to survive in the first place so they wont get the crown unless its swf of course.

Well the issue with letting survivors just have to play the rest of the game out is you’ll have survivors who just spend the first part of the game looking for the crown, then they will just let the killer kill them so they can get to the next game faster to get the crown on everyone

Honestly, just play normally, when 1 gen is left, either look for it or wait til EGC and do it then stress free.
Crowns keeps spawning, all 5 players can get them each match.
God forbid killer having it easier, not like escaping is hard in the first place.

There is always one pedestal on the map when I understood correctly. If you don't use it, after some time it disappears and switches location. If someone takes it, it instantly switches location. Everyone can get a crown, it just can appear in places where you already looked at.
I think it is always 250BP for collecting the crown and 500 BP for surviving with a crown, not related if you unlocked it or not. At least I got 750 BP when surviving with a Nancy.

I'm utterly sick of this event as a survivor. Pretty much every game is headless chickens running around looking for a crown. No gens done and killers who tunnel auras.
Please change this so that it matches killer.... Pick up crown and finish the match regardless if you escaped or not. This game feels unplayable right now.

This event sucks. Getting the crown at red rank is literally a big indicator "Mori me killer". Because those people have fun ruining the fun of other people they bring their bs arsenal every game, reset the position of the crown everytime they can. Play i would make outside of the event like saving a teammate during the end game i can't do because dying mean i'll have to wait even longer with all those psycopath ruining the event fun, when all they have to do is exist to get their own crown. Let's not talk about survivor searching the crown instead of doing gens. But you get it. This event is very unfair.
I bet not alot of people will want to play survivor during this event.

I got all the survivor crowns first day. I haven't even done the killer crowns yet. Only took a few hours. Imagine thinking it's hard.

I'm really tired of this event, wish it'd end after one week instead of two. Play as survivor - the killers are either facecamping or will mori off first hook, other survivors running around looking for crowns instead of doing anything useful. Switch to killer and the waits are long since it's easy to get the crown and people are sick of the quick deaths as survivor.

It's not at all about balance, I really don't think that requirements that need to be met in order to get a cosmetic can be considered as complaining about the balance of the game. I just think that it's bad design when a number of the event cosmetics are harder to obtain than others. I'd be just as annoyed if you required to 4k as killer but weren't required to escape as survivor.

I didn't say the OP was about balance. I said it was killer vs. survivor. Which is literally is. It directly compares the two and the conditions for the crowns in the first line.

the requirement is in place, so survivors cant just collect a crown and then immediately suicide on hook to collect them.
so by forcing them to escape with it, it ensures that the hook suicide numbers dont skyrocket.
its not perfect, but it is indeed necessary.

Not having a requirement for the killer side prevents toxicity (mori/camping/tunneling) and allow good hearted people to let survivors get their crowns without losing anything.
I've been letting people go with their crown the whole event.
Blame people who want to ruin other people experience, not the event.

but i mean, its not even that great of a cosmetic and imo it can be a give away for survivors because it can be seen over some rocks and other covers that are usually crouchable. So idk i dont even see it as a good cosmetic.

Then, as a red rank killer, you're playing very inefficient if 3k is pretty much required for ruthless. I mean, a 2k I could understand to push you over that bar, but its really not that hard to get ruthless.
I mean, either inefficiency or playing a killer you rarely play.

Th event is very underwhelming hence why I have played like 4 hours of it, Still a ######### ton of bugs, a broken offering that makes the event for most people, crowns that are stupid and make people waste time, this would have been a much better event if the cake was worked from the beginning, there was a 2x like last year(still don’t get why they didn’t do this), If 2 crowns could spawn at once instead of 1 and make it so they aren’t as hard to find as totems on dead dawg

i think survivor should start with the crown then get to keep it if they get out.
i can't tell you how many time i got out but couldn't find a crown then i have games i find crown right start of the match and the killer would tunnel camp mori me.
so if we all start with crown i think it fix this but who knows.
