Crowns event
Players who already have the crowns equipped keep picking them up not letting other get them. I like to suggest after you get one for that survivor you can't pick it up again with that survivor. Unless you get extra blood points picking it up i guess that would explain it. Other suggestions worse than the first one would be escaping once with it unlocks it on all survivors who are eligible to equipped it or after the event surprise everyone with the crown as a gift and the getting it during a match was just for fun at the start?

you do get more bloodpoints, it might be a small amount but everyone is on the same grind to pip up just try and reach it before anyone ;p

The pillars disappear/reappear around the map during the match, all 4 survivors and killer can get a crown in one match. Unless person with crown cosmetic cut you off on way to pillar odds are if they left it the pillar would've disappeared on its own before you found it only to reappear somewhere else on the map. You can only grab one crown per match, you get 250 BP for grabbing it and 500BP for finishing the match/escaping with it.

So it randomly disappears if someone doesn’t pick it up in a certain amount of time? Is that what you’re saying?

It kinda makes sense. It means the killer can't camp a crown just to prevent survivors from getting it. If a spot a crown appears in is in the middle of nowhere and no one's going to find it, at least it won't be there all game and will pop up in a more trafficked area. I just wish it wouldn't disappear right as I run up to it and go to pick it up. Like, c'mon, give me a few seconds when I'm in proximity.

What if a change would be made like this:
-If a survivor makes it to the endgame with the crown, they can keep it. If they escape with the crown, they get an extra 5,000 bp’s (or however many y’all would think would be reasonable for pulling it off).
I’ve played so many rounds today where the killers have just been so much more hardcore lately on console than they normally are and I’ve been struggling to get out with a crown on some of the survivors I have.

ok if you do get more blood points escaping with the crown each time, that's understandable.
