Killer Lunge Attack
Stupid question here, but is there a radius for the killer lunge attack to not work when chasing a survivor? Previously I never seemed to encounter this but today when chasing any survivors when I click and hold down M1 to lunge attack it just normal attacks causing me to miss since I am not close enough for it. I know it is not my mouse because when not chasing a survivor it lets me lunge attack fine and in any other setting outside of DBD my mouse hold clicking works normal.
So I am just curious if there is something I am missing here in regards to how the lunge attack works, if there is a radius when close to a survivor it no longer allows you to lunge attack or something? I just never felt like I experienced this before but now anytime I am chasing a survivor and have them in the center of my screen I am no longer able to lunge attack.
Sorry for the stupid question, I'm just at a loss why it seemed to never be an issue before and now I can't utilize it how I once did.

It's a bug so expect it to take twenty years to be patched

Oh okay, I hope it isn't a bug and I'm just doing something different I haven't realized yet, but if it is I will just have to learn to adapt to not relying on it so heavily for hits. Thank you for answering, makes me feel a little less frustrated with my last few rounds as killer!

I find it happens when survivors do certain types of wiggles or 360s, and it forces me to do a short lunge instead.

I've had it happen to me for quite a while now and I don't even know when it started. Hope I get to stop seeing it one day though.
