Was this hacking?
I don’t have a video, but me and my friends were playing on PS4 against a huntress. We were working inside the barn on the generator, and suddenly my friend was downed by a hatchet.
The huntress was far away, camping a hooked survivor, and it didn’t come through a window or opening or anything. There was no way it could’ve hit her. It just HAPPENED. How does a hatchet go through walls like that?

Considering it is on ps4, I think you should just assume it was a bug or glitch or maybe an opening you missed like a hole in the roof or something.

Consoles have cheaters too, you know. It's a myth that you can't hack on console.

Well you go ahead and do that and send me a clip then you can tell me it’s possible most of the time it’s just some salty kid calling out someone for hacking when they aren’t

It is possible to hack consoles. Rarely people do that because it requires more than just downloading cheats but it still is very much a possibility. Not all are just salty kids calling hacks, sometimes it could be an actual hacker.

I’ve never called hacks before, so this isn’t a regular occurrence of me just being “salty.” Orion is right in saying that consoles have cheaters too. For her hatchet to be able to hit me from that angle, and from her being far away, it literally would’ve had to travel through walls. I saw her aura of where she was, and there was multiple walls between us with no windows to get through. In fact it hardly look like anything even hit my teammate at all. It just “spawned.”

On console its very hard to hack on their, unless you modify your PlayStation or you hacked onto PlayStation servers

I think everyone already knows it’s hard to do. But the point is it’s not impossible. There’s just no other explanation for what happened; apart from it being a bug, but I’ve never seen anything like it before in all my years playing DBD.
