For those who use DS as anti-tunnel perk...
I saw so many people claiming they use DS as a tool to prevent tunneling. So, do you intentionally not hitting the DS when the killer isn't tunneling? Or when it's in EGC?
So far i have never seen people claiming this, even those who said they use it just for anti-tunnel.

DS is and always was a YOU CAN'T TOUCH ME HAHAHA perks. The EGC makes this perfectly clear and DS is abused by every Survivor who runs it.

I'd assume what most people mean when they say that is that they won't go out of their way to use it, like run to the killer while they're busy with someone else and jump in a locker in their view, rush saves with DS active or something like that. Doesn't mean they might not accidentally run into the killer or otherwise get to use it without being tunneled.
Unless someone is saving it for some reason (which can certainly work out at times) I'd imagine that if the skillcheck appears on their screen, they'll go for it.

You can touch them. You can slug them. This "invincibility" claim comes from killers who tunnel and then proceed to complain about getting hit with DS.
I don't go out of my way to use it, it just gives me security in case the killer feels lazy and does want to dart towards ME instead of the survivor looping them. I don't save it though, I haven't thought about it, I don't like gambling like that. Might as well use it than be the last survivor unable to use it.

The fact is those who really want to tunnel you will not be hit by DS. They're smart enough to know you have DS, so they'll just slug and wait until your DS deactivate, or wait by locker.
For invincibility, you can't slug them if they pair it with unbreakable, or they just jump in locker or anything that forces the grab, or in EGC. This is where the invincibility comes from.
So, those who don't really tunnel are the actual main victim of this perk. I got DSed far more times than actual tunnelling, if you believe it.

Cant slug in lockers, cant slug the unbreakable.
DS has no counterplay against people who know how to abuse it.
But its fine now. I have pyramid head, dont need to deal with these second chances anymore ;)

So i guess those people who claim to use it for just anti-tunnel are actually the very same people that want 2nd chance.
So, i think "Use for anti-tunnel" is just an excuse that's too perfect, as it hides their true nature of wanting a 2nd chance and at the same time also blames the killer

Can't slug in lockers? Why are you chasing THAT one survivor?
There are 4 survivor in the map, why are you targetting this ONE individual?
It honestly boggles my mind the reasons some killers come up with.
"They have God Mode, they're hacking, they have Unbreakable, they have this and that, they hacked old insta-heals, they're a SWF, they're stream sniping me, they're Karens, they're blah blah blah."
If you get DS'ed, sorry...but you only have yourself to blame.
And I'M a killer main.

That one survivor?
Maybe he rushed to a hook after the killer hooked another person and he knows how to abuse DS?
Or maybe there are only two survivors left?
If a survivor is Doing a gen in my face and then hops into a locker and you cant punish this misplay. Then you have a perk that is abused.

Also one of your posts was THIS:
And I'm done with killer at these ranks.
I'm going back to 16.
Killers get punished the higher you go, and I can't stick to Nurse because servers are so weird.
Survivors is still much easier, I've been Rank 1 for months.
Eh, oh well.
How do YOU maintain your Purple/Red Rank?
XDDDDDDD
youre such a troll mate. I believe you that you dont get DSed at rank 16 :D
But im playing at rank one so the world may be a little bit different there ;)

And what do u do when gate are open and the hook was right near the exit? Do you let him crawl out or pick him up just to be DS't?
I dont really have a problem with DS as long as it doesnt get abused OR this happens.
Its endgame and you hook a survivor near a open exit gate, all survivors are still alive. Someone comes to save him, you manage to hit the unhooker during the unhook and also manage to hit him again while all his mates + the unhooked survivor who still have BT tries to Bodyblock. You hook the unhooker but all the same repeats with another one until a recently unhooked get downed and you get DS. Game over and there was nothing what you could do.
Cases like this might be rare, but that doesnt mean it is a problem. This already happened many times to me.

You completely ignored what i wrote to you before writing this commend..
I'm curious, what will you do in this scenario?
Recently unhooked survivor doing gens in front of you, and you don't see any other survivors around. And as soon as you walk towards him, he jumps into locker just beside him. Will you leave him to do 60 secs worth progress on that gen, and potentially lose the game?
Also, we trade our opinions here, not telling you to be rude to any person who does not agree with what you believe

I use it.
But I dont run into the Killers face or try to do some actions like Unhooks or stuff. I get away, and if the Killer finds and downs me in a minute, I use my DS.
But most of the time I can use it while actually being tunneled. Except when the Killer is bad and cannot catch me in a minute.

i use it as survivor to stop tunneling yes but does that mean i wont use it when i get the chance? no of course not.
that's like saying you use devour hope for its insta down effect but when you get to five tokens are you not going to mori survivors? Of course you will because you can.
Also DS doesn't do much unless you let it, if it's early to mid game to the mid you can or just slug them and go after another survivor. in late game slugging is the best thing to do. Hell when i play killer and this is in red ranks i never tunnel and usually win before gates get powered and if they do get powered i go after a survivor that cant have DS or wont have it active. If they get unhooked i have probably hit another survivor and will instead go for them and if i can't i slug the one who got unhooked.
Its reallllllly not that hard to deal with DS unless you tunnel and even then slugging exists. you either deal with it sooner rather than later or you wait it out and go after someone else.

Iunno about that. I avoid tunneling because I know how unfun it is, and plenty of times I've had survivors DS me for the memes, or just to waste my time, like by jumping in a locker.
So, we have a couple of survivors. We will call one hookerface, and the other savior. So, I had previously hooked hookerface; not paying attention to her, but now im on savior, been chasing savior for a while. I down savior and hook her, and out of nowhere here comes a fullyhealed hookerface bum rushing the hook. Hookerface unhooks savior, just as I down hookerface. I go to pick up hookerface, and I get DS'd. Hookerface takes off, and savior follows. I try to catch hookerface, but savior body blocks. I knew what was about to happen... but they were getting close to the exit so I hit savior, but savior has endurance from hookerface's borrowed time. Savior and hookerface run off into the sunset.
Hookerface was fully healed when she came over, so she had to have ran over immediately after being unhooked to have DS available. I didn't tunnel, at all. Yet, DS gave hookerface the freedom to come and unhook someone in my face and get away with it, without any real consequences because she also had borrowed time. I had no recourse there, and was bamboozled by a perk that is supposed to protect survivors, not give them unlimited second chances.
But in my experience, this is often how borrowed time and DS are used. I get DS'd by people I haven't interacted with in a while, a lot, just as they go to save someone else.

PS4. I can tell you're new here but I'm a killer main on PC and PS4.
Also
^ ^ That's PS4.
This is PC.
On PC, I take it easy and stay at lower ranks. On PS4, I'm a full killer.
Anything else? You think I talk about of my ass? And before you say "why is it in another language omg, that's not even you."
I'm learning Portuguese, so all my settings have been switched to Portuguese.
So I'll say it again....I do not get DS'ed.
If you get DS'ed, that's YOUR fault.
Let me put it in a different tone you might understand.
You get DS'ed, you bad.
Where's @Poweas when you need him. =[
