Should Oni be given more leniency for Demon Strike?
Oni in my opinion is really fun to play as, but I feel like needed dead on accuracy to hit a survivor is a bit much for a character like Oni. I can hit a lot of my Demon Strikes, but I feel like if there were a bigger area of affect for a Strike then it could make for a fairer experience

Tbh playing on survivor I was totally fine with even his 360 radius from PTB.

I feel if anything he should get less slowdown from charging his dash or exiting his dash. It's really hurtful when you feel like you can use the dash in a loop but you can't, which gives the survivors wayyyy too much distance. Maybe it is too strong of a change considering oni is best when not being looped.

But with his power being more limited needing to depend on the actions of Survivors, why shouldn't his power be stronger than average?
Compare Oni to Billy. Billy in my opinion has the better/stronger power. By far, if you want to go into the details. Infinite use, no downtimes, enhanced map travel, and add-ons that can overcome near ANY downsides to name a few. Oni just doesn't compare to Billy in strength. The only thing Oni has over Billy is slight tracking, higher control mid dash, and can one hit down with a basic M1 while active. Tracking isn't much as you can hear wounded Survivors easy enough. Billy has add-ons that give him equal if not better mobility mid chainsaw and add-ons that negate misses or running into objects. That only leaves M1 downs.
Oni has his place and isn't a bad Killer. Oni just isn't that good from his power is more limited than it needs to be. Look at Plague. She is in the same boat of having a power that depends on Survivor actions and she is seen as a mid tier or worse Killer because of that. And Plague even is able to keep all 4 Survivors broken the entire game, yet still is just mid tier.

Even then you could only go 180° but it was a lot of fun and even after they fixed his bug hes just not as fun as before now he just kinda feels like worse billy, which is really unfortunate since hes a really cool character and was a lot of fun post release.

Only thing Oni needs is movement speed increase while in demon dash, from 195.5% to 196% because why that 0.5% ?
But Oni is fine, one of the more balanced Killers.

Let me put it this way.
Oni needs to find a Survivor, hit them, and then farm their blood or hit another Survivor to use his power. Either way Oni is a M1 Killer without a power for at least 1-2 minutes in any given game. And once Oni does have his power, it only lasts so long before needing to do it all again. That puts Oni in a spot where he is a M1 Killer without a power for most of the game. Billy on the other hand can use his power from the very start. Able to one shot the first person he sees, maybe even snipe the fool, and then do it again for every other Survivor he finds.
Oni can snowball if given a chance. The definition of to snowball is starting slow then build up over time. Billy simply says ######### that and goes at full speed skipping the "slow start" outright.
Oni only snowballs better than Billy because Billy can't snowball at all. Billy starts the game strong and stays strong throughout for non stop slaughter. Oni has to build up to Billy's strength and can't even maintain it for that long.

I think all Oni needs is better visibility when charging demon strike.
why is he looking up?

I just wish his demon strike didn't cover literally his entire FOV it's so disorienting.

100% disagree. Oni is a top 3 killer. People don't really know how busted no collision and Oni's flick is unless you've played against him and as him. Billy has been around for so long that I've learned literally every way to counter him and the perfect timing to pallet stun him with his chainsaw up.
You can't do that against Oni. He will literally hit you through corners and hit you through pallets with his charged lunge which has a massive hitbox. Billy doesn't have that. That's why Oni with his power up has better snowball potential because a good Oni is literally god tier. People say that Oni can have a rough start because he needs two M1's. It's not that hard. All it takes is a simple mindgame to close distance on a loop.

His lunge is already ridiculous.
