Best perks for the spirit
No idea what perks are meta right now, but does anybody know good builds for the spirit? :chuffed:
I've just been using her standard perks but am wondering if some of the tracking perks would be really good on her?

On my build i usually run BBQ, Ruin, Haunted Grounds and Whispers. Some people would go on to say Save the best for last is also good on her.

I'd replace BBQ ot Haunted Grounds with the new Surveillance, its really good on her and she can fall back on this perk should Ruin go down quickly.0 -
BBQ, MYC, Ruin, Stridor
I feel pretty strongly about these being some of her best.
Haunted Ground is gimmicky and unreliable. Whispers just doesn't make sense as it's better for killers with low map pressure of which Spirit is very strong in. STBFL doesn't even fit with her as most her hits are coming out of her phases and there are much better perks. Some people also like to run some of the pallet perks like the Enduring/Spirit Fury combo which also doesn't make any sense as pallets aren't even an issue for Spirit.

Totem Roulette is fun with her:
Ruin or Lullaby/Haunted Ground/Devour Hope/Thrill if the Hunt.
Discordsnce + Prayer Beads add-ons
Make Your Choice0 -
Made this one a while ago. I call it the executioner build, and it has serious potential to snowball out of control. It's important that you find the obsession and smack them a lot early, because it's critical for your noed+remember me combo.
-haunted grounds
-make your choice
-noed
-remember meSpeed addons are important for chasing exposed survivors midgame, and traveling between doors in the endgame

Ruin, BBQ, Make Your Choice and Nurse's Calling for me.

My variation for this build is this:
- BBQ & Chillz
- Haunted Grounds
- Ruins
- Retribution
A possibility of up to 36 seconds of full survivor visibility, paired with haunted grounds, makes a great Hex roulette. And the oblivious status makes a nice accessory penalty against survivors.
I sometimes switch between Ret and Infectious Fright or Stridor, if I feel I'm going to get spammed by iron will and proximity
Also, Bloodhound for dual irridescents.

stridor certainly isn't a must, not killer requires a specific perk to win/do well. Stridor certainly helps a lot of people, but this comes down to preference and the headset you own. My old headset was incredibly crummy, I couldn't track breathing/footsteps particularly well. Stridor was very useful for me at that point. I have a decent headset now (an average one works, you don't need to go spending $500), and I don't use stridor anymore, because honestly groans of pain are not the most efficient way of tracking survivors. Footsteps are your best bet, not only listening to them but also seeing how they interact with the environment. Stridor is pretty powerful on spirit, but it is by no means a must have.

Why did you necro this post? It's so old it might as not even matter anymore.

Best and strongest Perks would probably be:
- Hex: Ruin
- Hex: Undying
- Stridor
- Barbecue and Chili
No need for explanation really, Ruin and Undying are nuts on stronger Killers, Stridor counters the only real counter to Spirit (Iron Will) and BBQ shows Auras, you can phase directly to someone. Another Perk which I could recommend would be Sloppy Butcher. Healing against strong Killers is a necessity, otherwise you go down really fast. So this fact makes it a good slowdown Perk, and if they decide to not heal, they are very vulnearable since you have Stridor to track them down very easily.
If it isn't for the Bloodpoints, I'd say that you should use Sloppy over BBQ for the reason I explained.
