    I'm against it. The childish nature of the game turns me off it, and with the fact that I was 15/16 when it blew up, hearing about it every day when I had no enjoyment of it as it's not really a horror at all, it's a very boring one for me.

    Now maybe there are pieces I'm missing, but I've played 1-4 and SL, and the only one I've mildly enjoyed was SL, but even then,I have little to no interest in them.

    I'm sorry... childish? I mean if you call worn animatronics possessed by the souls of dead children who were murdered childish I hate to break it to ya but... that's not at all childish.

    Now in my opinion, it's more story and less gameplay. The gameplay isn't bad by any means, it's just not great. The reason children were attracted to several of the first games is because to them it's as creepy as the movie Clue. They don't understand it's creepy and messed up nature and just see it as cool ahhh spooky stuff.

    Now are the games scary? In my opinion... not really... For me it's a very interesting universe with complex lore and more discoveries about the story every day, and with creepy enough environments and ambience to be... creepy! There are many, I mean MANY theories about things as simple as why is Chica missing her beak at some point in FNAF 2. It's incredible how these games have brought together so many people to both discuss and theorize the lore of the series.

    There are books now, and even a movie from Blumhouse is planned! There's a good reason why it's become a cultural phenomenon.

    I've never digged into the lore, but from what I'm aware, alot of it is left open, where many people will interpret it very differently.

    It could work, but for me it brings back no good memories.
