Give the Hag the Ability to Hide in Lockers
Hag is an ambush killer. But compared to the current top tier killers she suffers without good addons. Low movement speed, lots of setup time, and easily countered traps put her in a lesser spot in the current meta. The Hag could benefit from adding new tools to her kit. There is precedent for adding new abilities to killers since the wraith rework a few months ago added a new blood tracking ability to the bing bong which is slightly helpful in some situations.
Seeing the hag in-game, it's always been the back of my head that she is small enough to fit inside lockers. Furthermore, it would be in her personality and demeanor to hide and crawl among narrow places. So why not add another ambush tool to her kit?
Imagine this; Hag can go inside lockers. Once inside the following happens:
-- Her terror radius shrinks to zero meters (a weaker insidious)
-- Hag's perspective goes into 3rd person while inside
-- If a survivor opens the locker while Hag is inside, he/she is grabbed
While inside, the hag also has 3 options to leave the locker:
-- A slow exit: makes no sound and gradually returns her terror radius to normal
-- A fast sprint exit: Hag bursts out of the locker creating the same jump-scare effect her traps cause to disorient nearby survivors
-- Trap Teleportation: While inside, the radius of Hag's ability to teleport to traps is also increased.
Currently useless addons could be reworked to support her new locker hiding potential as well. For example,
-- Imagine a rare addon that lets you teleport to the last placed trap only while inside a locker.
-- Or a more common addon that slightly delays your terror radius returning to normal after leaving a locker.
I think some combination of the above ideas would be a flavorful addition to her ambush playstyle that only slightly increases her power budget but adds a lot of flexibbility.

Another interesting thing:
Hag's locker grab animation when a survivor is inside actually has the hag fully step inside the locker.

It's fun, I just don't see how that would buff her though. Sounds like a more of trouble for very poor results...
Might be good for a new game mode, though. Something around hide and seek against Hag, you need to survive a timer and you can't run so you have to use lockers once in a while.

Think of it as a defensive tool like insidious is. Basement, 3 gen-strategy, add-on synergy, confusing people about which direction you went.

This could work but as a game mode like Hide and Seek but with a twist. There'd be plenty of lockers around the map and the hag could hide in any of them but would have to come out every so often and go to a different locker. Basically a debuff that would stack similar to how the Doctor works but it'd affect both sides.
For the survivor they start getting a stacking debuff like Doctors which only goes down inside a locker. However it'll also have tiers of the debuff so like the doctor if you reach the next phase you can't go below it. The object of them is survive for x minutes without getting into a locker with the hag. If you do you die instantly.
For the Hag it'd be the other way around and you'd start getting a stacking debuff the longer you were inside a locker. You'd have to go to a new locker once you get to x stage of the debuff. You want to leave that locker before you get to 1st stage otherwise that locker goes on a x minute timer before you can enter it again.This would of course stack and at stage 3 you could never open that locker even if you knew the survivor was inside.
Now if the hag goes into the locker and a survivor is inside that survivor dies. Also the longer the person stays in the same locker the blinder they get and the less the killers heartbeat registers. To prevent locker camping once you leave a locker it goes on x timer lockdown aka entity blocks that person from going back into it.
The killer could still manually down ppl but no perks or addons would be allowed since it's all about hide and seek.

It'd have to be a distance thing as in you could only tp sof ar and then it'd go on cd. The survivors would know you tp'd but not to where so they'd have to stay put or go find another locker really quick.

After playing hag a lot more in the upper ranks, I'm surprised to say she's not that bad. What I've learned is that its better to let people go and go back to setting traps. People have said in post-game chat that the terror radius surprises are spooky with monitor and abuse and locker hiding would add to that. She's held back though on large maps. If she gets a locker teleport on long cooldown, it needs to be her occasional long range option. Some maps are so painful to traverse with her lower movement speed. No possible way to stop a gen-rush on those.

She doesnt need this kind of change, all she needs is to make her traps undodgeble without the flashlight again, honestly crouching around is just a joke, she has so much potential in being top tier killer, but having this weak ability that is so easily cheated by crounching around, its just unfair and it made her so much weaker. I know its because of the camps at the hooks, but adding the crouching around option isnt the kind of nerf she needed. If you want to add something to her kit add something like mimicing the survivors form since shes mud, she could easily chance form to someone she damaged the last time and sneak between other survivors, this change would make her alot scarier and most likely unpredictable.(ofc there would be some way to tell if the survivors is hag or a true surv.)

Gens damage would be better than traps since she's got really great mobility if she places her traps right.

@powerbats all she needs is more mobility, coz traps wont help you most of the time in high rank, survivors on rank 8-1 are pure cancer, teabagging,looping and all of that, setting trap during a loop takes too much time and if the surv has flashlight there is bigger chance theyll just dissrespect you by keep destroying it then triggering the trap.

Technically can't she already get in the locker and hide from the killer? Oh wait, NEA is not the Hag we were discussing here huh? Well, they can be interchanged quite frequently maybe BHVR could just sell the same items for both.

@Davivix Actually crouching isn't such a problem for the hag. A trap that wasn't triggered is still there and it still slowed survivors down. So having a negativ effect on them. Actually what's more annoying is, the fact, that survivors can destroy her map control, by just triggering all her traps once it's safe enough to do so.

I ran down the stairs and into the basement and triggered all 10 at once it was pretty hilarious.
