FOUND QUITE THE BUG WITH EXHAUSTION PERK COMBO
I was playing Nea with Adrenaline and Balanced Landing in a game on the Sanctum of Wrath and getting chased by a Myers in tier 3. I ran up to the top of the temple and jumped off, final gen getting done and triggering Adrenaline at the same time I landed for Balanced and I got the jump stagger causing me to get downed. Now if my memory is correct Adrenaline ignores exhaustion and Balanced triggers after jumping from high areas, so I should've taken off like a rocket but apparently if they trigger simultaneously it doesn't count.

No. This is likely working as intended. Adrenaline simply triggered before Balanced and as such, you did not get a stagger reduction as you were already Exhausted.

How so? Just bad timing. Adrenaline triggered while you were falling, which caused you to have the Exhausted status effect, which in turn, prevented Balanced Landing from activating causing you to be hit.

It's just because timing countered the perks and it basically just be horrible RNG in order for something like this to happen
