I only see quantity but not enough quality

Am I the only one who MEH's at new content? There is no quality (anymore), the forced schedule of 4 DLCs per year and 3 perks per character are just pushing the quantity to high and leave quality behind.

Same with rift, to many meh cosmetics and to many recolours..

Imo devs need to stop with this. They should tone down to 3 DLCs per year and see how quality increases. Bugs need to be attacked and eliminated but also performance increased. QoL is deeply in need aswell!

The new killers always feel unfinished or unfun at least for one side. And perks are 95% just bad and only do a good job at polluting the Bloodwebs. And lets not talk about maps, the past few maps were all bad.

Yep 1 month more on DLCs could bring the quality much higher.

I also think the are too many things being released and not enough quality. In the Q&A I see a lot of questions with answers that the team knows about something, but didn't have time to implement something or fix something. Slow done the DLC releases. We don't need so many killers, survivors and perks being released per year. Make what we already have better, instead of releasing mediocre new things that just clutter the game.

We that many DLCs I think dbd has already a solid amount of choice for everyone. More DLCs aren't really needed anymore. But if they want to continue they should slow it down.

Definitely agree on most of the Rift and about 50% of the Perks.

I agree, I would be content 2 or even 1 DLC per year so they can concentrate in fixing what they have build, as you say we have a lot of DLCs and more arent needed, at least not for now.

They can keep churning cosmetics if they want to keep the money flowing since they dont affect gameplay and are not work intensive as designing perks, powers and maps.

Hey, maybe doing 1 dlc per year would allow new game modes? I would totally sacrifice DLCs for new game modes!

This thread really complaining about lack of quality following the release of Pyramid Head, Heather/Cheryl, Midwich, and tons of new skins from a big license. Even prior to this update, Deathslinger being the first killer with a gun and his map actually feeling different compared to most other maps more or less feeling like the same dark blue or dark green environment.

The only thing that will happen is complaints about quality will now become complaints about being bored with no new content and nothing to do.

tbh, the game is (and always has been) an absolute buggy mess and this would definitely help fix that

also gotta mention that more time between chapters would mean more testing for everything in the chapter, so there should definitely be less bugs when chapters release.

Would be cool if we had mid-chapter only focused on rework on perks.

If they slowed down a bit maybe every patch wouldn't break more than it fixes. So busy pumping things out for $$$ that things stay broken for far too long.

Should they only do 2-3 DLCs every year? Perhaps, they don't have to.

Would I like if they decided every now and then to skip a DLC to really work on fixing up the game's issues it still has before adding more to that list? Absolutely.

That's a lot of quality, yes. But I miss the quality.

yeah and if you make a single mistake, if they all escape is only because "noob 0k" and not because the game is unbalanced

Completely agree, they need to focus on things like the matchmaking and ranking system and they need to make sure that all the killers are balanced not bad or overpowered.

They need to dedicate time to fixing at least most of the bugs in the game.

And performance with it imo. Performance is pretty bad and some maps are tanking fps like crazy (ormond, Lerry's, newest maps...)
