I am rank 1 legion player on PS4 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcnr2iHbNA3Ot3PPC99Qsrg and was wondering what the best builds are for Freddy since I want to start playing him more.

    did a YT challenge for getting from Rank 20 to Rank 1 with no perks. When you get higher in rank, this is obvious...but stronger tier killers are almost required to win.

    Freddy is one of the few that has such strong abilities that you can play him at red rank constantly with no build at all (including add-ons), and still be a major threat.

    But if you really want specific examples, we need to know a bit about your playstyle and strategy. You looking for injury builds similar to Legion? Gen-Protecting? Quick chase ending?

    Bbq, pgtw and discordance. The 4th slot is a freebie do whatever you want. Sloppy is a good option, third seal is a great optiin, Surveillance, almost anything really. Add ons run at least 1 rope. Personally i really like dream pallets but thats up to you.

    Surveillance + Ruin, because you can easily just fake teleport and you see, when the survs jump off from the gen, even when you allready chasing someone.

    BBQ is good as well.

    I use BBQ, Hex; Ruin, Pop Goes the Weasel, and Surveillance. Never lost a game with this build on Freddy.

    As others have said, discordance and PGTW is a must. BBQ is also really good as it can allow you to see survivors working on a generator off in the distance which will then allow you to immediately teleport to that generator and kick it with PGTW. The fourth perk that I like to run is monitor and abuse as it can help you to get closer to survivors in the dream state before they become aware of your presence.

    Corrupt, Discordance, PGTW, Thrill


    thats all you need. Could swap ruin and surveillance for corrupt and pop, but I usually just stick with the above. It’s OP imo, which is why I don’t play Freddy very often
