So this is Dead by daylight?
Tonight, we were 3 friends in a party chat and one said: ''Hey why don't we give DbD a shot'' since it's on gamepass.
So we go ahead, download the game and start playing.
6 games later, we decided to leave the game.
Why? Well the matchmaking is AWFUL. We are all ranked above 15 and we ended up playing against 1-3 ranked killers like 4 times. This makes the game so unbalanced and not fun at all.
The other games, our fourth partner was leaving at the really beginning of the round. Did he see something he didn't like and knew the game was lost on the get go?
So we left the game and it's already uninstalled because apparently this is Dead by Daylight experience

Unfortunately. Matchmaking is at its worse and lobby times are terrible when starting out. Matchmaking is supposed to be fixed with MMR soon and crossplay will hopefully make finding games a lot quicker.
Sorry this was your first experience with the game! Hope to see y’all giving it another shot sometime later.

Interesting how you mentioned you were all above 15. Why not say we’re all above 16 or 17? I have to assume you said 15, because one if you is at least 15...can’t get from 20 to 15 in 6 games that you said you played. Sorry for the matchmaking, but for what it’s worth, red rank killers typically play “more fair” than lower killers, hope to see you again.

Yep you assumed right: one of us has played the game more and was rank 15.

Ok my mistake, I was under the impression from your comments that all 3 of you were playing for the 1st time. Rank doesn’t mean skill, and it’s much worse on the killer side. A 15+ killer VS res survivors (happens often) is absolute carnage. The game is constantly being developed and updated so I have faith the matchmaking issues will be resolved. But for now, it is what it is.
