let them do the gen on 2nd floor kill other survivor first, you can do some trick by pretend to go to them so they see you go after them but you're not so they gonna run off from gen. that's how i counter OoO idk maybe someone have better way

    That's a tough one. =/

My advice would be to kill the other 3 or slug everyone and force the OoO user to come out from the Shadows.

Or slug for the 4k, but if it OoO user is playing scummy he/she might let the slugged survivor bleed out.

I honestly have no advice yet, I haven't been put in the situation. Yet.

Best counter is "look at the corner" it's an amazing strat, just stare at the corner and let them do whatever they want, meanwhile you as the killer go take a break, maybe a bathroom break or something.

Jokes aside I've gotten 2 OoO and It was hard af, I just slugged everyone until OoO came

I haven't had that yet, but I figure just staring in a corner near the gate would do the trick. You really can't counter OoO on that map, and since it's usually used in a SWF, well, no need to put any amount of stress on yourself with that. Just alt tab and watch cat vids, then open the gate when all gens pop.

Ghostface, Wraith, Pig, T1 Myers, and any other killler/perk/addon that grants Undetectable hard counters OoO, and you can still see them with it. If you can catch them with it, anything that applies Blindness also helps.

    Insidious leatherface,

OoO on midwich is an ahole move. So to counter it you should play like an ahole too.

Ignore the OoO and go after anyone else. You know that the OoO will spend time avoiding you as much as possible instead of working gens, use that and it almost turns the game into a 3v1.

Running Distressing could also work. The bigger your terror radius the less they can use OoO. A bigger terror radius is also the 2nd form of stealth. Instead of giving little to no warning that you near you are giving so much of a warning that it's worthless. Think of it as silent and loud stealth.

The Sniper Elite games I think offers a good example. You can either go silent and stealth kill people. Or make use of loud sounds to cover up your gun shots. Either way works.

Please edit it to "soft counters", because the OoO icon still shows the direction where the killer is. Free premonition without a CD.

Usually when someone runs OoO and uses the map offering they want to play dirty.

So since they want to play dirty, you play dirty. If that means slug, tunnel, or camp the obsession welp. They knew what was coming.

Generally the survivors that use it to be toxic arent going to be attentive enough to check that, plus a huge chunk of their enjoyment likely comes from seeing the killer's aura lumbering around the other side of the map

Yep, this. They have no intention of letting you enjoy the match so don’t worry about their enjoyment either.

They’ll still ######### like crazy post-game because those survivors always do, but just ignore it.

This discussion is not about toxicity or enjoyment, it's about balance.
