To all old console players who went to pc
How the hell do you even play on keyboard and mouse? I find it so hard to keep my fingers ready for something like looking back to see, while running without stopping for a second.
What I'm looking for are some tips, like what sense should I use how should I have my hand at the keyboard, stuff like that. Because me thinking I could play huntress better has gone to a nightmare. Thank you.

Hook a console controller to the PC.
Boom done easy as that

Personally I left pc for console, so I'm looking at it backwards from you but what kind of mouse do you have, if you have a programmable mouse with 11 buttons like I did then you only need to worry about the aswd keys for movement, everything else is on the mouse which you can manipulate to your needs.

Logitech is a good starter for PC tech. Maybe later on move into Alienware or one of the other big time pc brands

It’s 99% just practice. You’ll keep pressing the wrong keys, walking into stuff, moving the wrong way and so on for a while but the more you use keyboard and mouse the easier it gets. I’m still learning myself and some of my moonwalks are awful but they’re improving all the time.
In concept it’s the same as the joysticks - you reverse your movement when you swing your camera 180 degrees. You just have to learn how to do that with key presses instead of swivelling your sticks. It takes your brain a while to get the hang of it.
You can always download a free/cheap game and play that for a bit to practice KBM controls. Warframe is a good one. Another thing that helped me was watching streamers who have mouse and keyboard inputs on their screen - watch their movement and see how it translates from their key presses.

Practice, I still suck at survivor with M&K but I've been practicing a lot.
But I improved a lot on killer

play a more fast paced shooter to get a grip on gaming on mouse and keyboard. It'll take you forever to learn playing this game

change your default keys before you get used to the current ones :D
I set my skillcheck / active ability button to m4 and struggle to mousewheel down. I dont think that E is a really good button if you use perks like dead hard, bc you need the fingers to move your character properly. Remapping struggle to mousewheel down allows you to chill while on struggle, bc the mousewheel down is a fast repeating input. You dont need to smash that spacebar, it did nothing wrong #SpacebarLivesMatter
You can use the survivor tutorial to walk/run around and get used to different mouse sensitivities, controls or movement while looking back/around.

I just switched from console to PC too, it’s hard asf to play survivor imo as you have to constantly be looking behind you in chases while looping. You could use a controller but I had someone on these forums once say that keyboard is superior but I don’t believe in that. Just either practice or use a controller if you need to. PC had better frames and performance altogether. (:
