Scooby Doo DLC?
I’m thinking the live action so it’s not so cartoony though. Would it work? These guys are always running away from monsters 🧐 And Scooby Doo is a classic. It’s not your typical slasher horror obviously, but I’d still like to see it.

I think Scooby Doo to Dead by Daylight is like Wii Fit Trainer or Piranha Plant to Smash Bros. That being said, I would probably rather see a legendary skin rather than a full on DLC, but I'm open on the idea ig.

I havent really paid any attention to Scooby Doo in the past like 8 years, so correct me if im wrong but... I never got a "slasher" or even "horror" vibe from Scooby Doo. I mean i guess i can see horror, but really only from a child's point of view... Its always just felt like a mystery thing to me. Has something changed with it to make it feel like it would fit dbd? Because i dont really feel like running from a man in a ghost outfit through random doors in a hilarous nonsensical sequence is the same feeling as being sliced, bashed, or chainsawed and then being put on a hook to be sacraficed.

LMAO. No it’s definitely not the same feeling. I know Scooby Doo isn’t slasher or typical horror. It was just an idea because it’s a beloved classic that involves them always running from monsters. So while I’d love to see it happen, I can see other perspectives too :)
Edit: Although NinjaDette is right! They did indeed solve their first adult-like crime scene.

With Scooby Doo as the playable survivor, since he's fairly intelligent (for a dog) and the entity would make sure he's mechanically inclined like every other survivor.
I'd like to see Miner 49er as the killer, since his backstory could really fit into the killers the entity chooses.

i mean if this game was just chasing then i could definitely see it. its the whole... brutally murdering part i dont feel would fit Scooby Doo. i don't how i would feel seeing Shaggy get a sword shoved in his chest, his tongue ripped out and crushed, then his face bashed into the floor. or any of the other moris

I use to joke they should just re-skin the game as a Scooby Doo game, as that is how the occasional SWAT SWF feels like. A bumbling costumed villain being outsmarted by a group of meddling do-gooders.
Honestly I'd rather see them approach the license holder about a Scooby Doo game with a simialr game loop.
Not that, that would ever happen, also they would be competing against themselves.
But they would have a large number of villains to pull from and with all the crossover/guest appearance on Scooby Doo throughout the years there would be plenty of other characters they could get for survivors.

There's also Mystery Incorporated which was about an over-arching story and had real super-natural elements (to not be too spoil-ry)
It sometimes got close to horror, but never quite on it. Still the closet in the cartoon shows to it though.

True. The main reason I want FNaF more than Scooby Doo is because people merely claim that FNaF targets 6-year olds, while Scooby Doo actually does target 6-year olds.

Some of the lengths Scooby Doo villans go could have killed a member or two of the gang so it isn't entirely out of the question though I can't think of any music cue that woukd be remotely axniety inducing or stressful at all for that matter.

Scooby Doo in DBD would be a dream come true for me.
Problem is the show is made for kids, so idk if Warner Bros. would want them in an 18+ serial killer game haha.
