Broken record, but has matchmaking gotten worse?
The past 2 days I have been playing as both survivor and killer. I usually play survivor with a buddy of mine and we are both in red ranks and have consistently (I'd say around 3/4 games) have been getting paired with two grey rank survivors while playing a red rank killer.
Killer for me has been nothing but new players and grey, green, and purple ranks even though I sit at rank 1. These games are just not enjoyable as I like a good challenge when playing both sides and the games have either been a slaughterfest or snoozefest.
Let me know if I'm just complaining or if has actually been worse for anybody else.

Yes it has got worse I was playing as killer at rank 1 and got matched up with 3 rank 20s and 1 rank 19

I had this earlier. 3 Rank 16's and a Rank 18. And I'm Rank 5. I thought they were just a SWF messing around at first, but the mistakes at pallets and constant failed skill checks started to ring alarm bells for me. I ended up just letting them all leave and messaged them all but man. MM REALLY needs to be fixed! They can't keep saying it's coming 'soon'. It's becoming a joke!

It takes a lot of the enjoyment away from the game for everyone. It discourages new players from playing as they don't want to get constantly crushed, and discourages experienced players from playing as those games are not as enjoyable on either side.

Man, I hope this isn't the new system because if it is then I'd rather them just go back to the old one. At least a week ago I was playing most of games within my rank, now it's just awful.

Exactly why I let them go. I could have destroyed them easily but it's not right. They wouldn't learn anything from me just bombing down on them. But if this is what MM is going toward, then this games playerbase will shrink fast.

100% agreed. I have had friends that want to get into the game because they've watched me or my other buddy play and it looks really enjoyable, but when they actually try to start playing they'll just get crushed and bullied by awful matchmaking and they just go back to other games.

Yesterday for a few hours me and a friend played some survivor matches together, and every single killer that we went up against wasn't any lower than rank 12 (i.e. 12 and up), and I'm rank 4 and he's rank 7.
Those killers that were rank 15-17 I felt really bad for. In one match we went up against a rank 16 Plague, and they had such a hard time that when it came time to open the exits, she opened it for us and let us escape!
Is it any wonder that queue times are so damn long for survivors when as a killer you're constantly being matched against survivors far outside your experience level? No one wants to play killer and I can't say that I blame them.

Man I want to play killer more but the queue times during the day are 5+ minutes and the only time they're fast is at night when I usually play with my buddies :(
