Alright doc mains/players now is your time. Give me tips on doc.
Hi all, I am currently a wraith, ghostface and Oni main, and after hours of watching ArchdruidDrey, I want to start maining doc. Any tips?

Two tips about using his Static Blast:
Don't use it randomly. Try to save it for when you know a survivor is close (Whispers, you see them, etc). Odds are decent you'll get more than the one you're seeing.
Don't use it close to the edges of the map. It does you no good if it goes somewhere survivors can't possibly go.

always go for moldy whatever they are called and calm add ons they gud

Thanks! I am most definitely using whispers on him, because of how much value he gets from it.

Just start using him and have fun. Get good with using his shocks to deny vaults and pallets, long range shock addon along with the fast activation time addon for the shocks is always good for this. Lots of good builds on him but you can use some typical M1 killer perks on him like Corrupt since you'll easily find people in the beginning with his aoe blast, STBFL, Pop, and whatever other perk you wanna use.

I personally think of Whispers as a "Training Perk" for the Doctor. It's good for when you're learning when to use his Static Blast but if you're able to get a good sense of when to use it you won't need Whispers nearly as much and can swap it out for another perk.

If you have discordance, use it.
It allows you to shock multiple survivors, and push multiple survivors off of gens.

Aight fellow oni main cutie listen up.
1- ADDONS
At first, if you wanna learn him I advice range addons, don't stack 2 of them just bring one on the side, the moldy electrode will make a significant difference.
Once you're ok at chase shutdown bring in ONE restraint book, this will allow you to see the hallucinatory doctors aura from all across the map, pretty much you'll know where everyone is (given that you got them to T2 Madness, which shouldn't be hard). This will massively increase your pressure.
Once you master his chase shutdown combine both discipline addons (green + yellow or green + purple), these lower the detonation delay of his shock therapy which will prevent those unexplained window vaults/pallet drops (Do not bring in one of them as it will make a tiny difference, unless its the purple one then sure)
2- Shock Therapy Timing
This can't really be explained in depth as it comes solely from practice.
But you need to learn when to time it so that you can shock the survivor before he/she commits to a running vault, because once they commit to it the shock therapy WILL NOT prevent the vault.
Also work on aiming your therapy in a prediction rather than where they are currently, this is because of the detonation delay.
A good thing you can do to practice shock therapy is to bring in the perk Bamboozle, Clown's teachable.
Block the window, then focus solely on preventing that pallet drop, once you get good at it remove bamboozle and swap it out for a different chase shutting perk (I suggest save the best for the last)
3- Starter build (not the best build but really good to learn him and makes it generally easier)
Distressing or Whispers for the shock blast, BBQ or thrilling tremors for tracking (or bring a restraint book), Corrupt Intervention for the shock blast and early game downs, Hex:Ruin
Distressing means larger shock blast, easy to understand, just get a slight idea of where the survivors are and boom. Whispers on the other hand means guaranteed at least 1 person in your shock blast. It's up to you whether you want whispers or distressing.
BBQ and Thrilling tremors serve same purpose, go with BBQ for the BPs and not having to suffer from a cooldown. Go with thrilling if you want to pull off a meme, shock blast = survivors get off gens momentarily then instantly pick up. You block right in their faces (given that they get shocked in the first place)
Corrupt Intervention is a great replacement for old ruin and it allows you to get a hook or two if you're lucky early game.
Hex:Ruin is nice if you can use your static blast effectively, putting them in T3 prevents doing gens hence regression, and applying pressure with the shock blast around the map generally gets them off gens if they get shocked, also giving regression.

Some people like to make Doc's terror radius larger for static blast since the two are tied together. I prefer to fine tune his tracking with my favourite addons discipline and restraint.
Discipline: Reduces the detonation delay of his shock but it also puts a red glow on the survivors back. This can be used for mind games but also for tracking. I've had survivors run into a bush to hide but they stick out like a sore thumb.
Restraint: Shows the auras of surivors for a few seconds when their madness tier increases. The addon also allows you to see the doctor clones when survivors are in madness 2. Use them to pinpoint where you need to go.
Lastly Doc is great for bloodpoint farming.

Are you a fan of unnerving presence? I just so enjoy loud explosions greeting me as i approach a gen.
I was planning on trying a new build of Distressing, UN, Corrupt and Discordance this weekend.

Unnerving presence is definitely a very fun meme perk especially with doctor, it's actually really effective against green or purple ranks at most. But once you get to red ranks it just doesn't work out that often :(

Thanks fellow Oni main :). This helps a lot, I will definitely practice with your tips.

I'm not really a fan of extending the terror radius, or skill checks on doc. But that sounds like a fun meme build.
