Road Map for 20-21 & Developer Update
It's been quite a while since the last Developer Update. We had one on 3rd of April, now it's already 3rd of July and there's not much word on what's upcoming next and what's happening. Also, I was expecting a road map for the next year in 4th Anniversary Stream, just like every year, but this time Devs didn't mention anything. It's always exciting to know what's being worked upon and what all to expect through-out the year. It'd be great if someone from the dev team could kindly share any update on when we'll get to know something. Especially, I see a lot of developer activity on the forums today. So it's a good day to ask :)

No, that wasn't a Developer Update post.
Here's a look at what makes Dev update so special : https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/141304/developer-update-april-2020#latest
They tell us about upcoming changes, QoL improvements, work in progess on balance, matchmaking and a lot more.

Maybe because we already know what's upcoming: chainsaw killers update, crossplay, crosssave, server hit priority, matchmaking update and graphical update. With too many things I don't think they are working on more, and having mind of these changes, there's no point on a dev update letter.

Maybe, but dev updates are usually more elaborate and specific on the upcoming changes and improvements.

So you want to read a text of what's coming even if you know it but in a fancy and long way?

Yes, that's the point of developer update. Devs tell you what's upcoming in the next mid-chapter. It's not like all that you have mentioned above are going to happen in the next update. A road map and an update is always better and offers more clarity imo.
