New killer/survivor idea [chapter: hide and seek]

Chapter highlights

- Killer and survivor perks focus on hiding and seeking other targets

- New mechanics to lockers interaction and ways for survivor to hide

Mechanics

Lockers can now be "investigated", which makes:

1. the new killer cannot trap the locker

2. Huntress cannot reload on this locker

3. Reveal items inside a locker (like a chest) (also for the trap from the new killer and totem for the killer's new perk)

for a time duration.


Hide out places are like rabbit holes areas/tunnels connecting the map that only survivors (or Ghost-face) can enter by crouching though. Alternate entrance/exit can be made by destructing some Breakable Walls.

When in hide out places, survivor will grant oblivious status effect while also unable to detect the killer's present; on the other hand, the killer will gain undetectable status effect and slightly reduced moving speed. Killers can "pin down" survivors to ground anywhere to have the same effect as hooking the survivor.


The hide out places offers alternative ways to go though "high traffic area" on ground while survivors having a risk to seeing the killer in a narrowed and straight tunnel.


Killer:

Summary of back story: a cursed doll wants the survivors to stay with her forever


Ability: Monster in the closet

1. Set lockers into traps that traps survivors when they entered, survivors will have to attempt to escape like when they got trap by bear-traps; if the survivors are able to escape, the locker's trap will be disarmed. Survivors can also disarm a locker's trap by investigating it. (takes an extra time to do the real investigation) If a trap-ed locker is also having a totem inside it, survivors who are attempted to open the locker will be injured/decrease 1 health state.

2. After a short delay/channel, teleport inside a locker (similar to Freddy). If there is already a survivor in the target locker, automatically "hook" the survivor inside the locker; if there is no survivor in the target locker, the killer will hide in the locker and gain the Undetectable Status Effect and allow to rush out the locker (similar to heads-on) to automatically put survivors in front of her into the Dying State. Survivor's aura that got hooked in the locker by this ability (caught during teleportation) will not be shown to other survivors. If the locker that the killer is hiding was investigated by survivor recently, a sound notification will be announced to the survivors nearby.


Perks (not in ordered):

1. Hex: Hidden History

All your totem will be spawn in side a closest. Survivor cannot use the closest while there is a totem in it. To cleanse a totem inside, survivor will have to investigate a disarmed lockers. (Have to disarm a locker before able to cleanse a totem)


All survivors suffers from 5% rushed actions speed reduction.


The Hex effects persist as long as the related Hex Totem is standing.

2. Feet Outside The Covers

Survivors who crouch more than 5/4/3 seconds for the last 30 seconds will reveal their aura to you while they crouch or walk.

3. Predictable Fate

Survivors who perform a rushed action during chase will be applied Hindered Status Effect for 1/2/3 seconds and causes survivor to scream, revealing their location to the killer. Predictable Fate can only be triggered once every 20 seconds.


Survivor:

Summary of back story: A male actor/model who is famous for his matured look, performance, and behavior, but secretly have multiple dolls rooms full of plushies inside his mansion.


Perks (not in ordered):

1. Ready? Action!

While being inside the killer's terror radius and not in chasing, this perk charges for maximum of 5/7.5/10 seconds. You can hold your secondary action button to consume chargers to record the action that you are doing. Click the secondary action button again will let your Aura and Scratch Marks will not be shown to the Killer and display the Aura and sound effects of your recorded action to the killer.

2. Comfort Zone

When you rush into a locker, you are not affected by the Blindness effect for 5/10/15 seconds. Your Exhaustion and Exposed Status Effect are recovered 2/5/7.5% faster while you are inside a locker.

3. Plushies Obsession

For 30/25/20 seconds you are within the killer's terror radius, the killer will leave Scratch Marks for only you can see for 5 seconds. When you are the obsession of the killer, you can also see their aura for 3 seconds as well. This ability has 90/75/60 seconds cooldown.


Reduces the odds of being the Obsession.

The Killer can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.
