Who else find unique map is boring?

I personally bore of unique maps such as indoor maps , saloon and Lampkin lane when i play killer or some map both killer and survivor.

Play these map requires less skill than normal maps. Normal map (Azarov , Macmillan , Coal tower , red forest etc.) need more skill than unique maps because of it has the shack , jungle gym , TL walls , main building , cow shed and crane (depend on some map) etc. so you have to manage your juke and comboing tiles as survivor and try to outplay and mindgame survivor as the killer. yeah that's need skill and it's challenges myself. Unique map has such like a normal pallet loop , not really good window and main building (some maps) . That isn't really need much skill and yeah boring.

Anyways just want to share my feeling about maps

(Sorry for bad English)

    I'd love to disagree heavily.

Maps like these, where people are forced to change their platstyle, are so much better than the basic maps. Haddonfield I get, hate that map with a passion, but I like the rest of them.

Also I wouldn't call Cowshed a particularly skillful map. You can combine so many safe pallets and tiles it's like Ormond part 2. You know how to hold W? You basically win those maps.

I hate indoor maps, and some unique maps as the op calls them(although I hate them cause of their look, rather than gameplay). You're completely right there, they make you play different, the tiles there are different, everything changes and it forces you to play differently overall.

If you hate em, that's fine lol. I personally love how it makes you change your looping and playstyle and shows actual skill being able to adapt to each map on the fly.

i love indoor and urban maps for the looks and atmosphere (except "the game"). I'm kinda tired of the bland, mat green, yellow and brown/grey scheme of the Coldwind, Sutohaven and swamp maps (the blue theme of MacMillan is ok-ish). That there are numerours maps of this same old theme doesn't make it better.

Does anyone know how the algorithm works? Does every map have the same possibility of getting selected (so that you actually have a higher possibility to go to some Coldwind or Autohaven map because there are 5 of them)?

Or is there a draw between the different themes (that means, Coldwind theme has the same possibility as Yamaoke theme or Red Forest theme) and then it picks one of the maps of this theme randomly?

I think it's the first one, although there are 5 Springwood maps and i don't get this theme as often as Coldwind, MacMillan or Autohaven, which also have 5 different maps each.
