Yeah that is true I made a comment in here somewhere that went a little more in detail on the issue so I didn’t sound too one sided cuz both sides can either hold the game too long or make it too short

Genrush IS real, I'm experiencing it every single time I'm up against red rank teams. The scores are usually really low due to survivors bursting through gens without ever interacting with the killer (me). It's quite sad really, especially since queue times are actually longer than these kind of matches.

It does NOT exist. There is nothing else to prioritize other than sitting around doing nothing. You have to do gens. The only time you don't have to is to rescue someone. Totems and chests and deliberately getting in chases does NOT count as an objective because they are not.

Dude your acting like your really good. Gen speeds are actually pretty fast, I bet you a million bucks that you've complained about something to do with gen speeds/gen rushing. Why do you think dbd is adding a "start game collapse" which is what The King called it.

Gens arent really your objective. Surviving is your objective.
You coule say Gens are a side objective like totems, chests etc.
If you just do gens instead of totems, healing or whatever else, then its the definition of ,,genrushing"

No. You are incorrect.
By "surviving", I'm assuming you mean escaping.
You can't escape without doing gens.
You can escape without touching a totem, a chest, or entering a chase.
There's no such thing as gen rush. It's called doing the objective. It's a must. This game could be re-titled generator repair simulator because we have to do gens every match and for a large portion of it.

Its not a must. Hatch exists. You could just wait until your mates die. Also even if they are the objective, it still would be Genrushing. You can rush your objective too.
Its stupid to say genrushing doesnt exists just because they are the objective. (which they arent neccesary)
You still COULD do other things and if you refuse to do that, that would be ,,objective rushing > Genrushing"

Love when crybaby Killers throw a hissy fit "Waaahhh, I'm being Gen rushed... WAAAHHH" But yet that's literally THE Survivors objective 😂 Grow up and get good, simple as that. When all 4 of us Survivors are melted down by a good Killer I or we don't cry screaming "Kill rush, Kill rush!!! You're not supposed to kill us that fast!!" This game is literally a cry fest. Fist time back on the forums in months and all i see is whiny entitled Killers threads.

Stop complaining about Camping/tunneling
There's no such thing as "camping/tunneling", if you can't run away from a killer you can only blame yourselves for being B A D, not killers for doing the only thing they can do - which is to kill survivors.

Get real. If you care at all about your team (SWF or otherwise), you are going to do the objectives. The only reason it ever "feels" like a "gen rush" is whether the team is good or not. A bad team will screw around and not focus on the objectives. A good team will just do a generator until interrupted so that they can survive by escaping. Your point is ludicrous. Wait for hatch! Lol. Killer mains crack me up.

Bud, the difference is that camping and tunneling are visible to everyone. You can see a killer camping. You can see a killer avoid other targets to tunnel another. With imaginary gen rush, people are literally doing what the tutorial tells them to do! Get over it already.

The difference is that tunneling and slugging are NOT required to get your objective done. Do they work? Sure. Are they required? No.
If the objective is to survive and escape, you need to do gens. Doing what is required to escape is not rushing.

The thing is, a killer cannot melt a competent survivor team, that would require all 4 going down basically next to each other, the only way to reliably do this is by playing oni or nurse with the plague perk of which the name I can't remember. Meanwhile optimal survivorplay is holding m1 and splitting up for the first 3 gens and not getting 3genned. Playing survivor feels like playing an MMO in it's early stages where ppl were challeneged with debuffing or staying out of the fire.
I think it's sad that the DBD devs work with a team from a different game that has solutions to many issues but decide not to take them (2v8 mode comes to mind). Like for example what's the damn point of trying to do gens when you're 2 survivors left with 3+ gens? How about the entity speeds up gen progression for cases like this to make it interesting, same thing with the start of the game, give the killer a grace period to even have a chance at finding the first survivor before a gen pops. We need more mechanics that combat the insane snowball in this game.

Slugging and tunneling help you do your objective faster as a killer so I disagree with you.
You slug to buy yourself time because "genrush" doesn't exist according to you.
You tunnel because it's easier to play against 3v1 than a 4v1.

Then no one should complain about tunneling either. Its just the killer doing their objective, kill the survivors. Just because someone dcs or suicides, doesn't mean the killer has to stop doing there objective and help the survivors. The killers obj is to kill survs in any way necessary.

Justify it however you like . . . it doesn't change the fact that slugging and tunneling are NOT required. Call it gen rush all you want. It's the objective. It has to be done to get the gates open. At this point, any time I see "gen rush" I will just translate it as "I suck as killer" because that's what it comes down to.

Gen rushing is doing generators above all else.
there are games where its more or less required such as playing against iri head/belt Huntress or perma tier 3 Michael sense healing becomes a non factor in those games.
However if your doing gens over healing or doing totems heck I have seen it over doing hook saves when the killer wasn't camping me(The killer was chasing the obession so the spiderlegs were twitching on their icon) aka rushing the gens over everything else then it is objectively a gen rush.

The difference is you don't NEED to do any of the things you mentioned to get the gates powered. You NEED to do gens. Call it a gen rush if it makes you feel better but it is how the game is designed to move forward to the end-game collapse. These comparisons to slugging/tunnelling/camping are false because they are not REQUIRED or NEEDED to cause end-game. They work, but are NOT required. So, again, if it makes you feel better to cry Gen Rush, go for it. I'm done reasoning with killers who suck.

I never complained or trashtalked to anyone because of genrush. I know theres nothing wrong with genrushing but that doesnt mean it doesnt exists. It does exists, even if its nothing anyone should complain.

You clearly have never played killer if you think that slugging/tunneling/camping aren't required.
There are circumstances where all 3 are justified.
Ps: Healing makes it more likely for you to survive and thus help you do your objective of escaping. While not technically required it greatly helps your objective enough that ignoring it in most circumstances to do gens is just rushing the gens while putting yourself at disadvantage in chases.

They're not required. I've lost in many a match where the killer did none of those things. Once again, get gud and quit your whining before all the survivors leave.
These killer mains don't get it. It takes 4 times as many survivors as killers to have matches to play. If BHVR keeps alienating and angering survivors, there will be queue times that are worse than they are today.

The major problems of the game right now. Genrush, strong loops (maps), camping, tunneling. Rework/balance and some perks helps. Deve are doing a good job making the game more fair and enjoyable. The big change I want to be Good is the New upcoming thing at the start of the game. Killers need more time, because good teams working on gens divided into two pairs, and even if you down someone fast they close the gen, when you losing time After they were unhooked, abusing of Borrowed, DS, and safe pallets, and bodyblockers team. You always lose time in almost every situation.

Gens do pop too fast but tbf that Trapper was Rank 14.
I'd rather a secondary and/or third objective than slower gen speeds.
