Rank the killers solely on chase potential
So I’ve been playing killer a lot differently lately, basically I want to win chases but I really don’t care much about “map control,” or “gen pressure.” Honesty just by winning chases against a lot of teams I find that keeps them busy enough.
That being said I suck at nurse and she literally gives me headaches do who are your top 5 killers that end chases quickly or can win even against great loopers?
- Spirt (if sound is working)
- Huntress (in most maps)
- Clown, post buff very solid 1 vs 1
- Freddy, because spamming snares is still omega lul
- Legion, now they don’t land that second hit easily but can stack up frenzy hits and still earn great BPs and emblems

I think Clown, Freddy and Doctor have a pretty equal chase potential. I'd give Freddy the lead because he can TP to a close by gen to cutoff a loop.

pretty useless comparison term. Nurse is clearly the best chase ender, but she sucks at tracking or finding survivors, especially after her nerf.
When looking into killers you need to consider the whole package, chase potential isn't enough.

That’s why I was very specific in my OP. Not really worried about “winning,” just when I find someone who can end chases quickest and win chases even against good loopers.

Nurse is without a doubt the strongest killer. Especially in chase potential, she completely ignores walls, pallets and windows. Unlike most killers, a nurse that's skilled enough to make few mistakes is nearly impossible to counter.
Spirit is a close second with her ability to force survivors to leave any loop by just mindlessly standing still.
It baffles me how anyone could possibly think that these two killers are somehow weak just because of the minor nerfs they got before that bearly even touched them.

Why no clown? He is better as chasing than quite a few of those.

Personally I think that Nurse and Spirit aren't the best Chase Enders, because against Nurse you can use LoS and against Spirit you can start moving in different directions when she is phasing at you. I tricked alot of Spirits like that.
There are Killers if played correctly, there is nothing you can do at pallets or loops, which include Doctor, Pyramid Head, Freddy and Clown. Dead Hard might be the only saver there but I don't count Perks, only ingame ressources and mechanics.

Everyone already knows that and does this. The whole point is to take a break from that and just consider the combat side of things.Perks can do the rest anyways.

Best chase potential? Nurse, Huntress, Deathslinger, Spirit and Pyramid Head are the top 5.

No one is arguing Nurse is weak. We are arguing that she is weaker to the point of being a chore to play and little to no fun. Throw in game breaking bugs that have been in the game for years coupled with a majority of her addons being memes and you can start to see why we're pissed.
