People are blowing the Hillbilly "nerf" WAY out of proportion
Wait, I forgot, this community does not like to "try" to learn, and want everything positive handed to them.
don't get me wrong, i'm a killer main, but I also use my brain.
You shouldn't only be using your chainsaw anyway, some times it can be very inefficient at chases at certain loops, and it's better to not feather every single loop. You may have forgotten, but you also have a sledgehammer, use it sometimes maybe?
(Do you want survivors to start the match on death hook too?)

What people are complaining about is the developers going above and beyond in the wrong way. Ultimately they wanted to look at his addons, which in some cases are a bit too much. Instead now they did something unneeded. Who asked for yet another powerbar?
We won't know how it will play out until live, but I'd assume it would have more of an effect than we realize currently.

So every killer with a powerbar is god awful? Chainsawing 24/7 is not a good strategy, not even the best Hillbillies can do that.
3 -
Ignore them only ones crying are rank 20s and campers anyways
2 -
Good Hillbillies hold their chainsaw for solid 10 seconds at a loop to find the right moment to go for a curve. This is highly skillbased, and is going to be removed with this nerf.

From my experience, the Hillbillys who use the Chainsaw the most are not the good ones. Sure, there are exceptions (like, played a match against Dowsey a few weeks ago, he was only going for M2 and he is damn good at it), but most of the time Hillbillys who go for Chainsaws 24/7 think they are a god because it works against Potatoes. But once they go against some semi-decent Survivors, they only lose with this strategy.

Don't you know? If you can't instantly down everyone within the first minute of the game you're an F tier killer.
Now that the chainsaw brothers are toned down, and Huntress likely being next, they can finally get real numbers for gen speeds which is everyones real issue.

think it's fair for survivors to be denied of opening exit gates?

This content has been removed.

Also, you don't necessarily need to pay attention to it. You have sound and visual cues telling you when the chainsaw is overheating. The gauge itself is mostly in the background.

I consider it me defending a person falsely accused of murder as a community service.

The best Billys chainsaw at the right moment in the right loop. Holding the chainsaw slows you down. It is like a Demo trying to shred every time. It just doesn't work.
3 -
Probably because of how they killed Nurse off with her rework.
6 -
And the Leatherface buff seems to be rather miniscule as well

Lol killed off nurse? Why she requires skill now so she is F tier? An actual good Nurse has absolutely 0 problem getting easy downs all the time. Making a character skill based doesn't make them F tier it makes ppl learn how to use it
2 -
Paid in auric cells, lol
1 -
The fact that you don't consider Nurse skill based shows your rank. She's still good, but she's no fun. Just a stun simulator now, with a heap of bugs devs ignore on top of it.
Billy is the latest example. I won't judge yet how well he'll do, I haven't tried him out with the changes, but slapping cooldowns on strong powers, instead of coming up with another mechanic? It's boring. I don't know why the devs think this is the route to go.
3 -
Lol I love how nobody seemed to notice that they demonstrated the nerf with a purple addon that reduces heat buildup and it was still insane
2 -
No they didn't. Unless "Pighouse Gloves" are supposed to look like a jug of whiskey.
1 -
Interesting where u read i don't think nurse requires skill. Does Spirit's power having a cooldown make her an f tier?
0 -
Problem with nurse is not the changes/nerfs but the bugs left. So no amount of skill gives you back your ability to blink when the game decides, bug for you no more second blink. F tier is the ignorance of people who are clueless.
1 -
Or they learn how to do it. You know practice and all and it has nothing to do with them thinking they are a god. You are not a decent survivor btw.

Ye but bugs are just smth that exists in games, its not her being f tier after her changes its the bugs that don't get changed the not being able to teleport for no reason has been there since her release for example

Mind-gaming a chainsaw is like mind-gaming an M1. It happens in a fraction of a second, that's all the time window you have to land the hit (Assuming a competent survivor). If someone needs three minutes of revving to somehow "ming-game" the chainsaw they are not a good Billy.
2 -
Explain how billy is at 2 gates at the same time.
3 -
The best Billy players do indeed use their saw even against injured survivors. Just because they can, I guess. I respect the M2 Billy's the most anyways.
2 -
Hmhm..that so? Well maybe theres slight hope he can be purple addon dependent
1 -
Yes, that is so. If you're going to argue a point, make sure to fact-check first.
1 -
Yes and that is the most frustrating about it, you devote time in order to learn something, master it. Then these devs do some rework due to reasons fill it with bugs and can not be bothered to fix them. Instead they add another fun mechanic nobody asked for while blatantly ignoring what people ask for.

Lol sorry the icon was a tad distorted and hard to see..no need to be toxic
0 -
No. It's the rank 20 survivors crying about him. All you have to do is avoid his curves. But people were incapable of even that and are being pandered to.

Hillbilly can saw to each gate easily. After the update, sure it harder, but not by much from what it seems in the videos.

I mean are you surprised?
It’s always the same people too. It’s really both amusing and scary.

This doesn't make sense, when he is at one gate the other gate can be opened also while he is traversing from gate to gate. Also you act as if every map is completely open with no objects in between like he can zip from gate to gate which is just not true.
You make things up, gates can be opened even on open maps by survivors.

Dude he was the most fun killer to play , and by far the strongest killer, then one day in patch notes "we changed his animations" and he becomes one of the most unplayable killers on the game. And no i entirely disagree that it works out better for survivors , he just camps and tunnels more than he did before so no. its NOT GOOD FOR SURVIVORS THANKS

BUT OF course no dev EVER GONNA TELL US WHY . HELLO DEVS . REPLY MAYBE.
