doesn't really matter what you do, someone out there will find it toxic. so do whatever. as long as it isnt cheating or hacking obviously.

If you purposely run them to ruin a players game or multiple players' games, then yes it is toxic.

Technically, it is the devs' fault for allowing OP stuff to exist. It is not toxic to use anything that is part of the game.
That being said, you'll find that toxic players will often use the OP stuff because it makes their power trip easier.

No, unless you’re using them to grief/exploit. People might consider some things annoying but they’re not toxic.

Depends on the context.
Personally, I try to avoid overpowered killer/survivor setups out of respect for the other player(s).

Naw. It's highly contextual based off how you use it or play them.

Most dbd players: none of them are toxic, just that the people who use them can be toxic.
Those toxic dbd players:

Will someone somewhere find it toxic? Yes.
Will the majority of people find it toxic? No.
Toxicity is more about how you use it rather than what you use. An ebony if you use it after hook 2+ is not toxic, but tunneling a first hook can be considered toxic.

its not toxic, but it (usually) isnt fun for the other side
1 -
No. Dickish? Kinda.
Using as many OP things as you can physically cram into one build knowing it only exists to make people miserable? Yeah.

If you are doing it for the sole purpose of making sure the other side has a bad time, then I would consider it pretty toxic.

"IS USING AND OP ITEM, PERK, KILLER OR OFFERING TOXIC?"
No.

Nope, chat messages are the only toxic thing in dbd

Depends on context and personal perspective.
I personally see face-camping and hardcore tunnelling to be the height of killer toxicity, but they're allowed and even encouraged by some people.
But I guess that a richard relocation and full on toxicity are different things.

Nah, not toxic.
It's a dick move to use like...Iri head but like....that's the only Universally hated item in the game.
Not toxic though. T-bagging, clicking, it's what you do and how you use these killers that determine that...but it's usually the player spreading the Toxicity, not the items, perks or addons. =]

I'd say no, but depends on what do you mean, OoO on midwich 4man swf can be categorized by "toxic", same if you sending to Ormond again with OoO or a key.
But if you just want to have fun who gives a damn?
I love playing survivor and sending myself to Azarov and Mcmillian.
Same to when I play killer, I love those 2 places way too much.
I think people use the word toxic to lightly these days.

items are not toxic,
way you use them might be,
is mori toxic? itself not, is tunnel mori after 1st hook toxic? imo yes (im moring ppl only after i hook every surv 1 time)
is forever freddy toxic or 3 gen doc? imo not BUT noone wants to play against that and dont expect ppl to play in normal way.
You shouldnt care if ppl thinks X is toxic, word toxic in DBD community is heavily overused (some ppl behave as its their 1st multiplayer game)
for majority of killers community bouncing pixels are toxic xd

Depends on what your intentions are with said item, perk, killer or offering.

What about using Tampered Timer and Jigsaw's sketch?

Items, offerings, specific builds or playstyles are in themselves not toxic. What's toxic is when you treat other people like crap without any reason whatsoever.

Perks CAN be toxic. For example, Red Herring + Repressed Alliance build.
First, do a gen for 3 seconds with a teammate then get in a locker. If the survivor is smart they'll probably go hide, but if not they got confused and seconds later the killer is on them.
Later in the match, when a gen is ALMOST done, block it off with repressed alliance.
Edit: please don't do this to your teammates.

Let's look at the definition of game toxicity: A toxic player is someone who negatively impacts a game in an intentional way. Bad game play and lack of understanding is not being toxic. However bashing anyone in game, leaving when things aren't going your way or intentionally aiding the enemy in any form is toxic.
When people start world war 3 in the end-game chat, that's toxic. (I recently had a Pyramid Head send me a death wish to my mother, so yes killers can be toxic too!)
Using what comes with the game that you bought with the blood point currency isn't toxic. To some yeah it can be viewed as a dick move, for example tunnelling and mori-ing on first hook. However it's definitely toxic game play when you look at the definition.
