Overheat for Billy isn't too big of a deal.
Having a character that is very mobile and very lethal while others are not as mobile and lethal is not good for the game.
The nerf isn't too big either, the devs don't want you to just ZOOOOM around the map with your chainsaw. You can still be mobile and lethal but not as mobile as before but you are still very lethal. The nerf is not bad. You have to think before you use the chainsaw now.
The lightborn buff is really good, Tinkerer is now a good perk.
Leatherface is actually a decent pick now. You can't camp but you can actually chase survivors with your chainsaw while not being inches away from the survivor now, which is fun.
Knockout is not a bad perk but a meh perk that can be used in builds. Franklin's Demise is WAY better now.

You litrally cant get blinded AND you'll see there aura when they attempt the blind

Look up chainsaw mindgames on hillbilly in order to curve, they eliminate that from his kit which is something that requires skill and encourage backrev instasaw. I dont need to think which i prefer to do myself and have way more fun facing.

Its a very generous overheat. The sprinting barely affects it, and it looks like for some reason he’s allowed to rev his chainsaw for longer than Leatherface before it overheats.....even though Billy was the problem

I think it is going to be like the spirit change. To those that main him and are good with him, it will matter very little.

It only affects newer Billy players. It wouldnt effect general Billy gameplay at all. Its just punishing newer players for trying to learn his power. Surprising enough, theyll see how hard it is, and either switch to Spirit, or switch to Survivor.

BASE KIT CHANGES
Given that we’re already pretty happy with the way The Hillbilly performs, the changes to his base kit are minimal. We are not removing any of the options you have with his chainsaw (traversal, feathering, curving, etc.).
