Is there any reason why the DC penalties are gone?

Did I miss a message from the devs about removing them?

Is this an intentional test to try and prove that the DC penalty system wasn't needed?

Is this a bug?

Whatever the reason, it couldn't have happened at a worse time... I mean I know everyone's getting plenty of BP right now, win or lose, but I noticed the DC's are increasing and it's starting to ruin the event for me, especially today so far.

If someone has a response from the devs about it, I'd appreciate a link. If there hasn't been a response, I think we'd all likewise appreciate one from them about this.

    Same. I had back to back killer dc's followed by back to back survivor dc's. Please bring back the dc penalty

    i dont think they remove it but latly the random dc from servers are much often so it might be your case. Im not a devs so that just my opinion

    I'm playing in the red ranks currently, and just an hour ago I was using my favorite breadwinner the Doc, with full intentions of making it apparent I'm DTF (Down to Farm), but for 3 games in a row... as soon as my TR hit them, or I approached them, I'd get 1-2 DC's immediately. these games had 5 cake offerings, and I was trying to get them to farm, but nope "ah ######### its doc!" = DC. sigh... nice way to kill the fun there guys.

    Any official response that's the actual reason? I thought that happened over a week or so ago, were the hackers doing this to so many people so frequently that they had to turn off DC penalties to try and stop them from ruining everyone's accounts? Has anyone else besides Tru3Talent been hit on live stream or come to these forums complaining about getting hit by this?

    A few people did come forward with that but since they're not streamers with a large following or fog whispers the devs brushed it off until it happened to one of their own

    Devs, please bring back dc penalties
