Snapping Out Of It Taking Priority Over Mending
For me personally I’ve run into this issue a couple of times, where a doctor has tunneled me off of the hook and I’ve had borrowed time, so he’s hit me and left me but I’m in tier 3 madness and need to snap out of it before I can mend. As a result I have gone down. It may have been an oversight when they reworked the doctor, or it could’ve been intentional but it can be quite annoying at times. Has anyone else experienced this?

Seems that would be how intended. Killer got you to madness, not their fault your teamate gave you BT, killer did nothing wrong. Unhooking near the killer was a bad play.

Yeah I guess, it’s also quite a niche scenario, so it’s understandable as to why they made it that way. But you get my point how it can be quite annoying for the survivor.

I think the devs are aware of it and okay with it. I know they’ve mentioned it as a possible interaction in the past but they didn’t want to change it.

Yeah the only way you can get out of this is by running to a teammate, I think it’s intended though.

Its most likely intended since it would make no sense for survivors to be able to mend while they are crazy.

It is intended, and you can survive it
Either the rescuer has borrowed 3 and you don’t miss skill checks or you find someone

That's an intended mechanic, and while it does suck for you it's not exactly getting tunelled. If you got farmed, go blame your teammate. If you were tunelled, you wouldn't have been able to bleed out.

One of my fav features of doc. You need to keep running till you find a teammate. You'll only go down if you try to power through the madness.
