De-pipping because killer is AFK
So i was playin some Dbd with friends and we encountered an AFK wraith So we just rushed gens
I did 1 full gen and fully opened a gate and i de-pipped
I dont want to be Salty cause in a normal match it would be OK but it wasnt my fault that he was (probably) farming iridesent shards

And killers can de-pip while getting a 4k. The entire ranking system doesn't work, just like the matchmaking. It has been like that for ages. 🤷

Or dont finish a gen when you are on it alone. Then you can go for the next near one and do progress as well, until someone else finds your gen. But in many cases they will know what you try and go with you to finish the last 3 gens to 99 before exit gates get powered

Can also hunt for totems in cases like these. Not only does it give ya some emblem points, but you also negate the possibility of the killer trolling with NOED and bloodwarden. That would be an embarassing 4k if the killer let you do all the gens without interuption, and everyone STILL died.

Whilst people say that you can just do the totems are all stack on gens, that's assuming you know the killers afk off the bat. You can spawn in and do a gen, not even thinking the killers afk just merely in a chase far off, and only realise afterwards
As for totems, theres only five to split out amongst 4 people, so one each is not nearly enough to help your emblems at all. The depipping is because of the no altruism and whatever the boldness one is, so unless you coordinate perfectly with your team you aint getting that safety pip easily
Plus, people saying "find the wraith and burn them put of cloak", how the hell do you find someone completely invisible, with the no indication being collision. Myself if the killers afk, i just accept the depip and leave as quick as possible, its not worth the hassle to dig through chests for a flashlight to then hunt through the map for them

Its funny because thats how i got 2 hooks in the egc i used wraith got 3 pwyf stacks had noed ready waited and then ran around and downed everyone.

I got a 3k once doing that. Just stayed invis and waited... Had rancor as a backup, but I down the obsession and then just waited awhile while they crawled quite awhiles to an open exitgate before finally hooking them and getting the survivors waiting to t-bag with Bloodwarden.

I know if some killer see a key and map in there game they take a wraith and go afk

Lol complaining about killers afking. So I've seen complaints about killers being "sweaty" and trying to hard, the perks they use, the way they get kills and now when they don't try? Comedy gold.

Why would you want to pip? I'd say that Wraith was doing you a favor.

I prefer playing against a freddy with brush and swing chains and have a slighty chance to pip or just have a safety-pip

It's not just a Wraith problem. If killer afks in a wall corner (ie. Can't get in red stain) chase and altruism 100% impossible.
I saw an afk Ghostface for a few days who would have a mouse macro to slash the air. Survivors were less pissy as we could get altruism off heals and obviously red stain for bold points.

You can hear Wraith snarling and breathing even in cloak, it’s quite loud. If your team just does the gens and opens the gates quickly you probably won’t find him but you can always check the common AFK spots like killer shack and basement.

It is a problem, but there's a slim chance that the Wraith is stuck in cloak. I was and the only way was to follow a survivor until they hit me with a pallet. Most likely they were afk though.

Had an 'interesting' afk wraith experience the other day. Wasn't completely afk, because I found him using spine chill and his snarling and interfered with him for a bit until he uncloaked, took a swing at me, recloaked and flounced off somewhere else, so not completely afk I guess. I did my share of gens, totems, went chest-diving, and was next to an exit gate when the last gen fired so opened it and left.
After that I went to go boil the kettle and came back, hit the spectate button (I was gone about 20 seconds max) and I don't know how my team managed it but noed was up and all three of them were on the ground. I hope there were some lessons learned from that but probably not.

Yeah because there is no in between scenario of actually playing the game normally. It's just hook/tunnel/mori or afk. Yep. Sure thing.

People are never happy about any way that killers play, even if you let them farm or something.
The only thing that survivors want is an easy win with the illusion that the killer was trying really hard and was a good player but still lost.

I agree and disagree with that. It certainly feels less toxic at lower ranks, but there are more diverse killers at higher ranks.
This is why I prefer to stay between 9-5 for rank.
