Soul Guard + For the People is slightly broken
I just had a Rank 1 game where a SWF had a full team of For The People and Soul Guard. It's kind of nasty tbh. Especially since they were running flashlights. If you slug for even a second, they'll pick them up in your face and bodyblock with Soul Guard. But if you insta-pickup then you're probably gonna get hit with a flashlight.
This is only an issue at like the top 0.1% of Red Ranks, but good lord is it toxic and hard to deal with.

I agree.
The synergy doesn't really bother me, what bothers me is they left this in the game while going out of their way to remove synergy from things like ruin/thrilling tremors for killer. Only strong survivor synergy is allowed, lol

I figured it was more a counter to NoED imo. The only time I see people sluggin is endgame anyway. I do think the BT effect that it gives upon recovery is a little nuts, but SWF is the problem, the perk just amplifies it sadly.

Instead of one in dying state you have one broken who wasn’t injured before and one with deep wounds (or wait those few seconds, if they bodyblock it makes it easy) and both pretty much directly in front of you. Sounds like pretty good pressure for me (if it’s not near open gates of course).

This only work well with 4 man SWF. It is pretty hard to pull off on solo survivor team.

We knew all of this when the perk was announced, sooner rather than later it’ll be on every crutch build unfortunately.

Great perk combo. This is the reason we have a plethora of perks. Killers also have perks that synergize well together and unlike survivor killers also have perks that not only synergize well together but also synergize with their power.
Now i will say ######### them sweaty swatty swf groups. They are the whats wrong with this game.

But you know, Ruin and Pop were OP. It's totally cool for survivors to be completely immune to the killer while downed (soul guard/unbreakable + DS), but how dare killers want to be viable as a non-hypermobile
There was already immense risk to running a hex as they usually last about 1 minute. They had to add ANOTHER layer of bs on top of it.
